This projector for the price is way better than anything on the market. The quality is crisp and the built in dolby atmos is amazing. The built in netflix, youtube and other apps are great as well. It can also be connected to bluetooth headphones such as airpods and makes it very versatile and useful when watching at night.     • Pretty good, not without flaws
I want to start with this, as I review this, there's a 50% off coupon on this projector, making it $110 instead of $220. At that price, this is the bargain of the century. But I'm going to review it considering the list price and the price when I ordered. And at that price, it's a good but imperfect product. First the positive. The picture. This is a crystal clear 1080p. I've had other projectors that claimed 1080p and, ehhh. Not this one. Keystoned and in focus this projector gives an awesome picture. Now a couple of negatives, none huge but enough small ones to prevent a 5-star. One, four corner keystone adjustment is broken, at least on my projector. The top left corner could only be adjusted left right but not up down. So setting up a proper keystone on this projector involved lining up the top left corner perfectly physically by moving the projector, before software keystoning the rest. I don't know if this software flaw affects the entire production line or just mine, but it's important. Two, I am asked for way too many data sharing permissions to companies I've never heard of to connect this projector to the internet, I left it unconnected. But that's a personal crusade against data harvesting I suppose. My number three though applies to everyone, a disappointing lack of inputs on the projector. One HDMI port is simply insufficient in 2023, and modern audio solutions pretty much demand an optical port, which is also not present. Those are a lot of negatives but none are huge, and the picture quality for price here is great, so this is a recommend when all is said and done, but a couple steps short of perfect ... show more

Before I go into detail, you should know that this is an incredibly capable portable projector, and the price is AWAZING for the picture! From the moment I unpackaged the hardware, I knew I had a very solid and well-crafted device. The body is heavy, and feels quite professional. The projector comes with a power cable, remote with batteries, and an HDMI cable. After I unboxed it and plugged it in, setup was a breeze. The only thing the instructions in the package left off is how to focus. There isn't a way to focus on the projector itself, so it took me a moment to figure it out. (Hint: Its the red button on the remote). Once I could see what I was doing, I connected it to the internet, and less than 3 minutes later I was surfing Netflix! There are several apps built in to this projector, so you don't need an outside source to use it right out of the box. If you do want to plug this into a computer our source, the projector does come with an HDMI cable as mentioned above. There is also a USB port if your media is in that format. I took the pictures on this review indoors during the day with the lights on. Even with those light influences, the picture is extremely bright! WOW! They weren't kidding when they mentioned remarkable clarity. For a 1080P (and 4K supported) picture, I am very, very impressed. The sound from the projector is GOOD... and plenty loud if you are near it. Its not PERFECT, but that is not what this projector is about. It does a fine job, give it is an all-in-one device. There are different audio settings to tweak it as needed for your respective needs. In addition, it can connect to external speakers via Bluetooth, so if you need more sound, its available as an option. It also has headphones if you are wanting a personal experience. This is a SOLID option for an outdoor projector, or for a kids/guest room. Honestly, it could also be the one you set up anywhere to enjoy entertainment. Its WiFi and portable! I've used a few projectors over the years and am constantly amazed at how fast these have gotten better, and more affordable. The small form factor of this one makes it easy to transport (they do label it as portable). It's really nice that this comes with Netflix and Amazon Prime built in (makes an outdoor movie night so simple to just cue and watch without having to drag a laptop or other source along). Connecting to my home wi-fi was a bit of fun as I don't have a simple password to connect, but once I had this online it was super simple to connect up my Netflix and Amazon accounts (punch a code into a website and viola - you're in). The built in speaker was plenty for watching movies in my basement, but having Bluetooth audio connectivity removed that cable from outdoor night where I prefer to connect some PA speakers and 'do it up right'. The capabilities of this projector are SO much better than one I bought just a few years back during lockdown for outdoor movie night with the neighborhood kids. It's really impressive.
