The media could not be loaded. After many testing (and watching YouTube videos of other people testing those against the Apple tags), I can tell you that those works better than the Apple branded ones. Location reporting is frequent and accurate too. The tag itself has replaceable battery, which is great. Once it's depleted, you just have to replace it, and you will be good to go again, versus having to just throw away your tag and buy a new one, like some other manufacturer does. Tag is sturdy enough that it can be used "as is" on your keys chain or baggage. However, there are plenty of protective silicone case option on Amazon if you prefer to have it better protected instead. Pairing was a breeze, and the tag paired with my phone right out of the box, without the need of difficult steps to do. Good to keep in mind: You will need a genuine Samsung phone to use with this tag. I believe that it will NOT work with Google Pixel phones or iPhones. At least right now. Maybe later they may come up with something compatible with all phones. But for now, this tag is limited to Samsung phones only. ... show more

I recently went on an Alaskan cruise and decided to purchase one of these luggage trackers "just in case." The directions walk you through every step to download & set up the app you need to use the tracker. I tucked the tracker into a pocket in my suitcase and took a short weekend trip to practice using the tracker and the app to track my suitcase. It worked perfectly! ... show more

That's the only instructions. The app is super sketchy too! When you click on contact us..it gives you no way to contact customer service or find any help. And I'm shipping it right back... Follow up: I ended up exchanging it for a new one...and it works! Just scan the QR on the box, super easy set up. I got it to track my cat when I'm out of town. It's kinda big on her collar, but piece of mind is priceless. ... show more

I used this for my luggage when I traveled. At first I was unsure but once the app started to detect this tag, it slowly got closer and by pressing the "ring" feature, I was able to find my luggage quickly. And because of the "ring" feature, there's no worries about anyone claiming your suitcase is theirs ... show more

I purchased this even with the poor reviews from the Samsung website. I attached this to my car prior to going on a trip to keep track of it if it was stolen. It has great battery life and the App that is used with the smarttag is easy to use. The App shows you right where the item is with a time stamp. Looking forward to using it on my luggage later this year. ... show more

    • Good but not great
Works well for me. My problem is that you are required to have a working Samsung device to use these. I want another brand phone? You're denied. Your phone breaks and the only other one you have is not Samsung? You're denied. So I might only ever buy just one. But I do like how much stuff it does. It should be able do things that eg Tile tracker cannot do because the app is a system app. So for example you do not need to have Bluetooth "enabled" because SmartThings can go around that since it's a system app. I like that. Actually I really like that as you can still find your phone without the high battery cost that eg the Tile tracker has. I rate this and the Tile tracker both three stars because each has a big enough usage problem. This tag is only for Samsung devices compared to the Tile which has too high battery cost if you want same use of it. However, because of the Samsung tag very low battery cost compared to the Tile, the Samsung is the only one I can recommend and yet it has its own cost of requiring specific phones only. Its crazy. I do like how other Samsung phones from strangers can update its location when its outside of the device range. I haven't looked to see yet if anything else can be done through their phones to the tag. But for everything it does, requiring a Samsung device is not cool. They should make a more compatible app that offers a few less enhancements. This would seriously up their game. As it is they've limited their market and at the same time made a disservice to their customers. Three stars at best. *Update* Had to find lost keys one of these tags was attached to so I tried it away from the known area and it said all tags where by me when they definitely were not lol. There's something they need to fix. When I got to the area it wouldn't connect to the keys so I rebooted the phone. Simply force ending the SyncThings app might have worked (then open it again). But after a reboot it worked great and found the keys right away outside in the mud. Without it, those keys would never have been found, except by chance, and been driven into the mud by vehicles.
