This thing is great. People talk about filing or drilling i to the base of the garmin echomap but I have a 73cv and I didn't have to do any of that. Just place the screws where they are supposed to go and the plastic is soft enough that if you start to screw it in they will begin to thread I to the base. Doesn't come with I structures but is pretty common sense to put together ... show more

Great mount used on my pdl120. The mount is secure but not completely stable, there is a little wobble but does not affect the fish finder and not a deal breaker.

The media could not be loaded. A lot of wobble at the base, and doesn't line up with Garmin striker 9 bracket holes. Had to elongate 2 of the holes just to get it screwed in, and the supplied screws aren't long enough to catch the nylon in the nuts. Overall don't think it'll come off, but I wouldn't use it on anything other than a kayak. ... show more
