The first one I ordered was an older model. It was dead on arrival. Charged for hours and didn't even light up or hold a charge. Returned it and they sent a new model and it works perfectly. I have no complaints with the new one. I give 5 stars for the return process being simple and the new one working. As for the tile part of this item. Make sure you check your Google play subscriptions in case you accidentally opt in to tile premium cause that shizz is like 80+$ a year. They have a free trial that you could accidentally accept so just keep that in mind and opt out if you need to. Its a great item other than that. Definitely check it out. Worth it.

Update: Keysmart provides a 2 year warranty. That makes a world of difference. I contacted KeySmart directly and withing 24 hours I was replied to. Sent pictures, and order number and they agreed to replace it for free. That makes the product worthwhile in my opinion. Changed review to 5 stars because I love the product and when a company gets that thing can happen, that makes me a customer that will stick around. I had wanted one of these for some time as I love the efficiency of it, and was aimed to give it 5 stars. However, I only used it for a month and a half and then this happened. Pulled it out of my pocket and one side completely broke. It held only 3 keys so I would hate to see the stress fractures that occur from any more than that. I am not sure if I simply had a bad unit or what, but for the high price, I expect far more durability from a device such as this. Yes it is plastic, but I have used other devices that hold up to far more stress. They need a way to replace defective products from Keysmart, otherwise it is not worth the money if it is going to break after 90 days of casual use.

Initially saw this from a tech website in my google news feed. That website mentioned there was a sale on this particular version of Keysmart. Decided to give it a go because I did have too many keys on my keychain which I was too tired of keeping track of. It sounded like a good idea to consolidate them into one item rather than dangling them around and staying disorganized. Pros: Organization: I have never felt so organized with my keys until after I bought this. This is very useful if you have the amazing problem of having keys that look exactly alike but are for different locks. You are able to spread them out and make sure that there is no confusion on what key is what this way. I set my keys up so that keys I'm actively using are on one side then keys I rarely use but can't lose and the ones on the o occasional use on another side. Lots of Features: This is the feature rich version of Keysmart so it has access to Tile, a flashlight, and a bottle opener. So far I haven't been able to use a lot of the features as I'm mostly 9/5 and have been living a very indoor lifestyle with this pandemic so a lot of the features I would have used such as the flashlight or the bottle opener have gone unused. I also haven't had to use the tile app or audio but I have tested them and they are very accurate for locating whether it is a lost keysmart or your phone. Once set up so if you also have trouble finding your phone just press the tile button on your keysmart and it will play music at a loud volume until you turn it off. So this would be great for someone who is constantly moving or who loses their keys often. Compact Design: I thought to myself why nobody thought of this before it was released because it just seems like a no brainer when you finally have something like this. Being able to not hear my keys raddling or segment them into different keychains has been the greatest feature out of this. Cons Price: While I appreciate the features I don't think it is worth more than $20 maybe $30 max. I got this it on sale, and had some rewards points through my credit card and it was around $25. While I understand this particular version is very feature rich it doesn't explain why the others, including the most basic version, are more than $20 when not on sale. Unable to Completely Fit 10 Keys You will not be able to fit 10 full size keys in this thing. It becomes too loose. I have about 6 keys of various types in this and it barely fits them all. I decided on just using My apartment's mailbox key for example does not fit in the Assembly and Disassembly is Time Consuming Do not, I repeat, do not think this is something you can just pull the handle off and take a key out and then throw it back together in a few minutes. The construction on this is very laborious. Once you set the keys it is very difficult to get these off. So understand you may have to compromise on certain keys especially ones that are borrowed keys. Overall: If you want organization this is great. I would say wait for a sale or if you have gift cards or rewards points as the price is a bit high. If you don't need the other features even though they are very useful, stick to the standard less expensive versions which are lower in price.

I'm currently on my second one of these. After two "mistakes" I figured it was time to write a review as a warning to others. As a key holder/organizer, this thing is great. Holds the key firmly, and I only have to tighten the posts every couple of months. Sadly, that's where the good review ends. Charging: The first one I received was a dud. It held a charge for 2 days if I was lucky. I returned it after a couple weeks and received the replacement. Initially, it functioned as it should, and I only had to charge every couple weeks. After two months, that changed. With the next 3 months, I was back to having to charged every 3-4 days, even without using the tracking feature. Now, when I charge, I'm lucky if the power will last a full days WITHOUT using and of the power functions. Today I charged it for 8 hours straight, and it was dead within 2 hours. Tracking: When it does have power, the tracking function works are intended. If you're prone to losing your phone, this will bail you out. I stopped using it once I realized how quickly the battery drains. Alerts: Another nice idea, but not practical. If you misplace your keys, you can send a chime to the device from your phone. This works great if you're in a quiet place, but the least bit of noise will drown out the sound. Even in an empty house, it was hard to hear from two rooms away. Overall, I would recommend a simple key holder in addition to a separate tracking device like and Air Tag or Tile device. Hope this review help.

The product works and is not too bulky. However it does not fit all keys. Thick keys will not fit, neither will small ones depending where the key ring hole is placed.

Love this as a keychain. Absolutely can not get the built in tile to work. It sits on the charger all day and the little light stays amber. It will not connect to my phone. Great design for the keychain part but the electronics are garbage.
