Setting up this TV was stressful - from minuscule instructions that can't be read without a microscope to endless do-loops trying to get the thing to work. The actual TV and stand are quite heavy (which I expected based on the product information) and the TV has to be laid on a flat surface, screen down, to install the mounting hardware. This is definitely a two-person job. Once set up, though, the picture quality is very good and there is a lot of depth to the image. I have my TV on the included stand, but I used the wall mounting cable and put the one connect box on a shelf under the TV for easy access - I wish this option had been explained in the instructions. The remote takes a lot of getting used to, and navigation is cumbersome - but I'm sure it's because I'm on the steep end of the learning curve.     • Just bad and frustrating on many levels

The media could not be loaded. Audio issues....desyncs all the time. This makes the TV close to unusable. Picture is good, but it doesn't matter when the audio is a full second out of sync. I've tried everything to fix it. Sometimes the audio doesn't work at all, sometimes it glitches out, but most often it's just so out of sync with the video that I'd rather just watch it on my phone. Samsungs smart TV interface constantly surprises me with how terrible it can be. It is the least intuitive most frustrating garbage, and I've truly grown to hate it after spending a year with the very expensive piece of trash bolted to my wall. At least once a week I consciously regret spending this much money on something that frustrates me so much. ... show more

We purchased the 65-in QN95B. We've been extremely happy with it for the past year. I've read ALL the negative reviews, but we've had exactly zero of those problems. We have an incredibly bright living room with tall ceilings, so after extensive research on YouTube we settled with this. OLED was tempting, but the fear of 'burn- in' is real. A family member games on it, and has no complaints (This is noteworthy after hearing nothing but complaints for 7yrs with our now replaced Sony 🙄). The picture is bright, vivid and impressive. No problems with audio and our BOSE speakers hooked up nicely. The remote is very similar to an Amazon fire stick. There's YouTube videos on the easiest way to assemble this TV. It's very heavy, especially the base, and the screen is thin and delicate so it will take two ppl. The 'one connect box' is a legit selling point also. All TV's should have this feature nowadays.     • Main Board went out before 2 years old! Buy Extended Warranty!

I would like all to know this is a very nice TV. But the Main Board just went out before it is even two years old! This is not good. I have TVs that are over 10 years old and still running. With the higher power consumption comes comes failure of components. Cost me $588 to have Samsungs authorized repair person come out and the part is only warrantied for 90 days! GET THE EXTENDED WARRANTY FOR THESE NEW PRODUCTS!!! ... show more

Got this tv on Wednesday. Set it up on Thursday. Picture is just ok. Nothing special. I have a $300 TV with as good or better picture. Glare easy on screen from lights or sunlight. Makes a buzzing sound on some deep bass notes. This afternoon the screen went black and was making a humming sound. I tried to cut off but it wouldn't do anything. Finally after about 5 minutes it popped back on. I waited a long time to get what I thought was a high quality TV but I am thinking about returning it.     • Amazing picture, but bugs, laggy software, high price

THE GOOD 1) Brightness is out of this world and HDR videos really pop. 2) Black levels great for non-OLED, but still a bit of halo effect and blooming off-angle 3) Form factor is pretty slim and flat on the back. Circuit box is a separate unit which can be hidden behind a wall or cabinet. 4) Good gaming features. THE BAD 1) Color calibration out of the box is poor, but can be fixed with the right combination of settings. 2) Some minor dirty screen effect on light backgrounds. 3) The glossy screen really reflects light. I can always see the reflection of my window. 4) Odd mechanical click when turning TV on, like the tube TVs of old. 5) Defaults to Samsung TV Plus (or antenna if TV plus is disabled) on bootup, and I've found no way to change it. 6) Remote frustrating to use. Awkward, small, cheap-feeling buttons prone to accidental presses at slightest graze. App specific buttons not customizable. 7) Decent sound for TV speakers, but speakers buzz and rattle at certain frequencies THE UGLY 1) Interface slow and laggy with stutters and delays in both visual and audio cues. 2) Ads on homescreen; can be reduced with hidden settings, but not eliminated. 3) Bugs in several apps cause video to lag audio after a while. Independent of the audio delay setting. Seems to be TV software issue, not app issue. 4) Eventually, TV will lose connection and just spins indefinitely when loading video. At that point, have to do a soft reboot. 5) Bug if soundbar connected. TV will switch back to TV speakers at random. Frequently happens. BOTTOM LINE For this kind of money, the level of software issues and bugs is inexcusable. What's crazy is, if they had used Google TV or Roku, this would likely be 5 stars. And yes, I understand that I can just buy a separate box, but I shouldn't have to do that at this price. For picture quality snobs, this and QD-OLED are the ones to get, but if not, I'd go for something with good software and pay 1/3 the price. ... show more
