This uint is a true plug and play. Works great. I do love the unit. My only issue was the fittings for the line in and out: Had to remove them as they did not seal well with the threads in the Heater. Once I removed them, leak stopped. The other was the pressure relief valve - "pop off valve." This item leaked also. Once I bought a new one the leak was corrected. ... show more

Works well and gets hot if needed. Will last for a good 5-10 min hot shower. Used for off grid living , will be getting another and putting in series to double the capacity for longer showers when the sun is out 😎

Damn shame it was nice looking. However it would not stop leaking from the pressure relief valve I remove it flushed it out still leaked. Called CS on hold 15 minuets the disconnected this happened 3 more times left messages no response. Sent 4 emails no reply. Tried one more call. Left msg. , got call back. Agent barely spoke English had to repeat name spelling and address 3 or 4 tines. She wanted a picture of the leaking valve. That was it. I blew up. All I wanted was a replacement valve at most to them a few dollar item. But oh no I got no response no call back nothing. So I did what I told the CS agent i returned the hunk if junk. Makes you wonder why they even bither to say 6 year warranty. They wont honor a 3 day old part replacement. This outfit is a batch if thieves. ... show more

Price is great, is very well insulated and well constructed. Looks great on my shop wall. Install is very basic so if you can do basic plumbing you should be able to do this. I used flex lines to hook up directly to the tank inlet and outlet then connected to typical rigid water lines... I would leave the tank heater off and flush the tank for 5 to 10 minutes to clear it out of any residue before use. ... show more
