I bought the TV 8 months ago, but it sat in my garage while my porch was being built. I finally installed it last week, only to discover that the screen was broken. There was no visible damage, but the image appeared with a huge crack. I was worried because I was far outside of the Amazon warranty. Fortunately, they sent a new TV right away. i spent 2000 on this tv and it has had nothing but problems. I had mother board replaced. i bought it specifically for outdoor use to watch football. I am told it is out of warranty now. what a waste of 2000 dollars. Samsung tech support was worthless.

This is the perfect outdoor TV. One note of caution normally a 55inch TV is under 75LBS, due to the weather proofing this TV weights 110lbs. I have this TV mounted outside on a Pergola, we can see the TV across the pool. Great sound, great pic, the Terrace is a great outdoor TV!

I had an issue with my TV after 10 months of ownership, and they sent two technicians and repaired it at no charge. Very happy they resolved it within a couple of days with great communication and service. Very few companies will stand behind their product like this anymore.

The picture is fantastic, obviously, but I was impressed with how fast it turns on switches channels and loads apps. My other TVs are a Samsung frame and a LG oled and they aren’t near as fast

I would be very careful before buying the Samsung terrace full sun model! I purchased this new model for my pool two years ago and within six months, it had terrible streaking down the front of the television where the film that covered the top of the screen started to come apart, leaving what looked to be dirty streaks, but when you look closely, it’s actually the film deteriorating on the face of the television. I have been fighting for two years now to try and get the TV replaced or repaired but they have refused. I have two other 55 inch partial sun models that are working great. However, I would not advise buying the full sun model. Very disappointing that Samsung does not stand behind this product when it is advertised has being able to withstand direct sun exposure!. ... show more
