A lot of reviews mention the low brightness, but I think those people didn't look at all of the settings. There are brightness settings, and then there are settings in regard to the ECO Mode which also affects brightness. If you turn off ECO Mode and put the brightness at max, it's plenty bright. Picture quality is nice too and there are a lot of options for adjusting the color, sharpness, etc. The sound is also very nice and balanced, heck you even get a straight up equalizer so you have a lot of room to adjust the sound. I also really like the stand and the way it sits on my shelf. The stand is small but hefty (it's made of metal) so it doesn't take up much space but the monitor feels extremely sturdy when you set it down. There is also plenty of room between the bottom of the screen and the surface it's on (it's about 3.5 inches) so there's plenty of room for a console to slide underneath the monitor. I've been really liking it so far, and at $250 it seems extremely worth it. ... show more

This is a good work/entertainment monitor, i always have a brightness and eyes straining issue while working with external monitors, but this one seems to have great options, i would recommend it.

Samsung is so Smart:). Combining TV and monitor into one. Now I can watch TV and do work at the same time. Hulu, Disney, Netflix are preloaded apps. Super easy to setup, works with both my windows and Mac, and I love the black. The price is the best part. $239. I do wish the stand has adjustable height and more tilting capability.
