Honestly. I don’t write reviews often, but I have to for this. If you have the money, buy it! I was trying to find the perfect projector for a while and then I stumbled upon the Samsung freestyle. It has the best of everything. Samsung tv, apps, games, you name it. It is super bright, the auto focus is a life saver, the battery stand lasts about 3 hours which is good enough for a movie or a couple of shows, otherwise I just leave it plugged in the wall. The color quality is outrageously good no matter what size the screen is. We go camping with our RV at the beach and projected a movie onto the side of it. Had the whole beach coming to watch! This projector comes with auto focus & auto keystone which will display the screen according to the angle it is set up at ( such a time saver ). Set up was easy and simple, and there’s an app for it as well. 10/10 purchase.

I've never noticed how good this portable projector samsung could ever done. The gaming on this is outstanding and its really responsive. But its super expensive though. I love how bright the image are and how you can charge the remote without needing batteries. Well done samsung. Also the sound on this is really good. Even the connevity as well as ease to setup. You just set it up to a wall and let it do its thing without going to the menus it does it for you. I also love how its just like a normal samsung tv and how easy it is to find the menus through the remote.

It's a very small and portable projector that's good for a small apartment like ours. As soon we turned it on our cat tried to play with the projected light. The main thing that got to me was the loudness and bass of the speaker is really good and great if you're hosting and it's on your coffee table. It really shines when it's darker or when the sun sets and you can tell it's very good quality. It isn't too good for the daytime. The fan is audibly present when on but not noticeable when watching things. When gaming on it there isn't much of a buffer as well. The thing that got me was that you can Bluetooth connect to this thing to stream and it's super user friendly! You don't have to have all these other apps for stuff you just watch straight away out of the box.

“When I turn on the projector, any movie or series scene that takes place at night or in dark settings is practically impossible to see because the details are completely lost. I’ve tried adjusting the settings, but nothing works. On top of that, there’s a giant white light behind the image that makes it even worse. The projector just doesn’t work properly, and the image is not enjoyable at all.”

Pros: Great pictures, smooth refresh rate, great colors. Projects great onto a cheap 150" cloth screen (although it's rated only for up to 100"?). Very light and portable unit. Cons: Internal Atmos sound output enabled only for supported apps, similar to a firestick. Not for day time use at all unless projected on a very small surface area. The app store is trash (no VLC, nor any other apps for viewing content directly from a local NAS aside from the clunky intrusive Plex). Must be set to 'gaming mode' at all times to get best picture and sound from any external device connected via the mini-HDMI port - which an adapter is not included and must be purchased separately. Unit remains kinda warm to the touch even when it is off which makes one wonder wtf it is doing while idle. Auto-Keystone doesn't really work at all unless the projector is a certain distance from a surface - if projecting beyond rated specs just simply turn the feature off and adjust manually for best picture. Overall: Satisfied with purchase and would recommend but there seems to be a lot of premium charged for unnecessary included features and services I may never use. Even at 50% off MSRP used it is still feels way too pricey compared to other generic units but then again, it is a Samsung.

I love this product it is such a game changed for when you don’t like the way your tv looks in the room. It’s quality is incredible, although it’s meant for dark rooms so the light can be projected better I can still watch it when there is some light in the room, obviously it’s not as clear but it’s visible, definitely worth the money you are paying. It’s very easy to connect and learn how to work with it. You also don’t have to be moving it around because it auto focuses and the size is just perfect to put away or set anywhere.

In a nutshell, I purchased this projector because it is Samsung and almost all of my TVs for the past 20 years have been Samsung. When I saw that the projector could mirror with TV, I had the perfect situation to use it. I couldn’t find a list anywhere of which TVs would support this so I decided to buy anyway. It’s very disappointing that this feature does not work. Another feature I hoped to use was the Bluetooth connection to my audio receiver. This flopped as well. To work around, I had to buy a pair of Avantree Oasis to extend the Bluetooth range. This works out but disappointed on the additional cost to do what I needed. At the end of the day, I plan to keep the projector. It’s nice for outdoor movie night which is the primary reason I bought it. It will travel and the built in speaker is enough for that. I listed out my pros and cons below: Pros: compact, lightweight/very portable, easy to use, good picture even in daytime with light coming in the windows. Cons: mirror tv does not work, poor Bluetooth connectivity
