The description says linen so I thought the fabric would be linen. It’s not. It’s super thin and cheap polyester, which if you read the product description lower in the listing it does say. I don’t like that they are doing a bait and switch here though. Linen is not a style it is a type of fabric. But I digress. The style and cut of the pants was perfect. I’m 5’5” and the pants sat at my waist and were the perfect length when barefoot or in ballet shoes. I really wish these had been linen as I would have kept them. The polyester fabric is really soft but extremely thin. I purchased the apricot/sand color and it was so see through that I felt inappropriate wearing it even with skin colored underwear/thong. Not sure if a dark color would have the same problem or not as it was because the fabric was almost shear. We ordered these very lightweight pants for my daughter, who will be serving as a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Caribbean. The weather is hot there and the humidity is high! These are a classier pant that will work with her professional dress code, but also won't leave her feeling stifled or weighed down with the heat. It will offer better mosquito protection than her dresses and comes with great pockets! The tie waistband is comfortable, with a pajama like feel that looks a bit more classy. We haven't seen any shrinkage with washing and like them enough to order them in a couple colors. Model is 5'10" tall and 115 lbs and wearing a size small. They fit true to size, but may be a smidge short for her tall height. Sort of wish they came in a size with a taller inseam where needed, but they still work okay. ... show more

I actually love these pants. I love the way they feel and especially because I have a game and considerable amount of weight and it’s very horrifying pants that fit me appropriately. I’m very heavy at the bottom big legs big behind big thighs all that good stuff and these fit very nice and comfortable. The stretch in them is appropriate. I have the light blue color, black and a tan color. Now I have a print pair as well now that material seems to be a little different. They still fit well but.. I like the solid colors is better. I have tried other Palazzo pants, these from Sampeel are by far the best I have found. The fabric is soft and flowy and feels good against the skin. They are nice enough that I can wear them to work. These pants are incredibly comfortable and lightweight, making them a great option for warmer weather. I originally purchased them hoping to wear them to work (I’m a teacher), and I paired them with a fitted black top for a comfortable but put-together outfit. The leopard print is cute, and the fabric is soft and breathable. They are easy to wear for long days and don’t feel restrictive at all. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that they read a little more casual than I expected. Depending on how they’re styled, they can look somewhat similar to pajama pants. That said, they are still cute and comfortable, and I’ve enjoyed wearing them. They have great stretch, didn’t shrink in the wash, and have held up very well after multiple washes. I absolutely LOVE these pants. I’ve pretty much just been living in them nonstop. They’re super comfortable and give a lounge pants or pajamas feel wear wise. I’m 5’3.5” and 211 lb. They reduce the appearance of my apron belly & while they are a smidge too long, I’ve been wearing a platform sandal and a taller mule with zero dragging on the ground.
