abunda_amazon_reviews The squat rack has exceeded expectations. It is as simple to use and put away as advertised. Definitely geared for CrossFitters / power lifters. The rack quality is high end sturdy, and I will get many years out of the product which justifies the price. It’s perfect for saving space and not an eye sore for gyms inside of a garage. I found it cheaper of coarse on amazon so I would look for any deal you can get because it is pricier than other folding racks and you rarely will find a deal on the PRX website. Its the simplicity and saving of space that you are paying for.;;Reviewed in the United States on November 19, 2019;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Exceeds expectations;;Eric;;;If you're short on time, then know that this is thing is "as seen on Shark Tank" junk. Get a stand alone - PLEASE. If you ABSOLUTELY need the fold-up option and you're forced to buy this (or one of the copycats), there's some things you should know: 1. Assembly sucks. I'm not new to this, I've built 2 Bowflex Power-Rod gyms, 2 elliptical machines, a treadmill, a leg press, a power tower, and various all-in-one gyms, and this unit looks deceptively simple. Make sure you have a 24mm (nearly 1") socket - this is larger than most home toolkits will have. I was fortunate to be able to borrow one from a friend who works on truck diesel engines. On page 8, you're asked to assemble the pull-up bar - Step 3 on that page even says "Fully tighten the pullup bar, as this will reduce movement of the bar while in use". DO NOT tighten, because on page 10, you're asked to UNDO HALF OF WHAT YOU DID ON PAGE 8 - "Attach the left linkage arm by removing the (bolts you installed from page 8)" - to be able to attach it to the wall bracket (would have been nice to know on page 8, PRx). These are the 24mm bolts that go into locking nylon nuts, and it takes a LOT of torque to turn these. Plan on a solid 3-4 hours if you're skilled at this sort of thing. If you've never assembled a steel frame structure, set aside the better part of the day. 2. The stability is downward - this thing wobbles side to side like a patio umbrella in a storm. Shouldn't be an issue if you use it normally, but if you're expecting rock solid stability, you will be disappointed. 3. When they say you need a 9' wall, they don't mean 8'11.5" - and forget about folding it up if you have crown molding of any kind. If I had known what I'm telling you, I would have purchased a free-standing rack. I'm convinced that the only reason this thing exists is because of the Shark Tank exposure. This is the exercise equivalent of the flex hose. The lack of lateral stability and arduous assembly do not justify, for me, the extra couple of square feet you free up when it's folded. If you can avoid Murphy racks, please do. If not, I'm sure the $300-$400 copycats are every bit as disappointing as this thing is, so at least save yourself some money. I regret this purchase and would return it if it wouldn't be every bit the nightmare that assembly was.;;Reviewed in the United States on July 28, 2020;;1.0 out of 5 stars;;AVOID! Total I think less than 2 hours install if you have the right tools. The brackets were difficult by yourself and you definitely need two people for rack to bracket install. The rest is a single man job. The product is very sturdy and reliable. I am able to do TTB and butterfly pull-ups without issue (5’9”). It’s very convenient and easy to put up and down by yourself for quick stow away. Wouldn’t have selected any other rack for the price. Awesome job PRx performance

Husband loves it!
I bought this for my husband for Christmas and he absolutely loves it. It was not easy to install however since it involves locating studs in the wall etc...it’s definitely a 2 person install project. And, a piece was missing at the very end (one of the arms that holds the weight). I emailed PRX and they shipped the missing part immediately with no questions asked. Excellent customer service and great product.

Replaced Full Rack to Save Space
This did exactly what I was looking for it to do. It saves space in my garage. The install wasn't hard at all. It does have some flex it, but my high school son uses it who is very rough on things with no issue. He's a big kid so this had no trouble holding the 420lbs he squats.

I have no excuse to not workout during COVID-19 now
The Good: Arrived quickly even during the outbreak. Very sturdy loaded with weight if assembled properly. Easy to move up and down once fully assembled. Great product overall, with no complaints. The Meh: Nothing so far has been horrible. Its a bit difficult to build by yourself. There were very minor scratches in the paint, but nothing close to exposed metal. Make sure you find the center of your studs!

Great Rack and Fabulous looking.
Absolutely ecstatic with the Rack. It arrived ahead of schedule and went up with 0 problems. This rack took me about 1 hr to install while I worked with my 17yr old daughter teaching her how to assemble and install. Rack is also very close to flush with the walls.
