  • Very bad quality.
Size: 16 Gal/ 64 QT
Used the pot to boil and within a year have hole in side. It is not worth the price.

  • Brewsie 10 gal brew pot made by Concord. Great value for a decent piece of equipment.
Size: 10 Gal/ 40 Quart
I bough this brew pot for my initial foray into home brewing beer. Great value for the price. Made by Concord as is the Gas one pots sold here. This one has a bead rolled 3" from the bottom for the false bottom to set on. The temperature gauge is centered 6.25" from bottom which require 4 gallons to cover it. The impressed gallon markers are impressed before the bead is rolled which makes the 2 gal interval short and the above markings read similarly short by about a quart. The bottom inside and out is not polished at all. it has a machine brushed finished. The rest is polished nicely about one step below mirror finish. The welds are fair, considering the quality of Chinese welds. Nothing looks imminently ready to break! I must stress that YOU NEED TO CLEAN POT AND VALVE thoroughly before using this for any food or beverage use. This is a stainless steel product made in a metal shop and polished with polishing compound. There is residual polishing compound on all surfaces. An initial firm wiping with a white cloth or paper towel will reveal the dark compound. Wipe it all firmly down, then wash with Dawn dish detergent and a non-scratch blue scrubby sponge and it should be good to use. The ball valve plastic internals are lubed with heavy machine oil. This is your next cleaning job. It is best to completely disassemble the ball valve to remove every trace of oil. If this is beyond your ability boiling the valve a few times in water might get most of the oil to float to the surface of the water. Never tried it. After the initial cleaning, the after brew cleaning was a snap. The metal thickness measured .024" which is 24 ga stainless. The tri ply bottom firmly holds a magnet so I assume it should work on an induction burner. The temperature gauge needed a tweak down by one degree; no problem with the slotted adjusting nut on the rear. I got the Concord branded temp gauge with my unit which has two little barley stalks on the dial face. Cute! One small part problem was swiftly remedied by the seller. I have used this on a 2350 W 8" electric resistance burner on HI and it did not scorch the bottom. False bottom was easy to maneuver around the temperature probe. I should have used the bazooka screen to filter the hop debris on mt first brew. Next time (next week!) I will. If you need a ten gallon pot on a budget with false bottom, valve and temperature gauge do not hesitate to snag this baby! Edit August, 2020 - it does work very well with my new induction cooktop. Also, the bazooka filter is useless, it just jams up. Your best bet is to use a stainless screen canister for your hops. Happy brewing! ... show more

  • terrible instructions
Size: 10 Gal/ 40 Quart
for such a simple product the instructions are the worst I've ever seen. You have non idea where the gaskets go based on the cryptic instructions. You need to look at other companies instructions to guess at where they belong.. Pretty frustrationing for such a simple product. Of course there appears to be no way to contact the mfg. Amazon support was of little to no help. ... show more

  • Good pot/ thermometer a bit long FYI
Size: 10 Gal/ 40 Quart
This pot does what it says, it’s of good quality and I have brewed a few batches now and it has been just fine. Cons: The thermometer stick 1/3rd of the way towards the center of the pot so my wort chiller has to be angled it and didn’t fully rest flat. I also managed to tear my grain bag after using 20lbs of malt and having it be caught on the thermometer as I was trying to remove it at the end of the boil. I would highly suggest you look into buying a metal 1/2" plug and remove the thermometer all together. The false bottom is a nice addition however it sits pretty high up, takes maybe 2 gallons before the water hits the top of the false bottom. So think about that before you buy or brew. Fyi don’t screw in the parts with the O ring super tight around the valve or it will screw with the seal. You want it tight but not as tight as possible or it will leak slowly. I think this pot will later on become by hot water pot when I graduate to a 3 tier system. ... show more

  • DUAL PURPOSE
Size: 10 Gal/ 40 Quart
This pot will do double duty as a mash tun, or boiling kettle. Good thick bottom, adequate thickness sidewalls and lid, good welds. The only drawback is the thermometer is mounted too high for partial boils, and I have to use an "in the pot" thermometer. It also takes 2 gallons of water to reach the bottom of the screen, keep that in mind when figuring your grain and water ratio. All in all, good price for a dual use item, an individual kettle and mash tun wouldn't have these drawbacks, but would collectively cost more. I would recommend for the average homebrewer. ... show more

  • Does what it says
Size: 16 Gal/ 64 QT
I ordered this brew pot due to upgrading from 5 gallon to 10 gallon all grain brewing. Other then adding some teflon tap to stop a small drip this thing has been fantastic. I have brewed 25 gallons so far and it's been working great. I would recommend this for any brewer looking to up-size or add to they kit. Can't say it was the Kettle but the beer being made when that picture was taken came out fantastic. This large kettle has been fantastic for all my 10+ gallon brew days. ... show more

  • Problem with Thermostat
Size: 16 Gal/ 64 QT
The product worked as intended. Only issue I had was sealing the Thermostat. I ended up needing a trip to Home Depot to get some better o-rings. Seems like the hole for the thermostat was too big.
