The SAMADHAAN meditation floor cushion arrived very well protected and easy to set up. The black carrying bag is an extra bonus, not only for travel but for dust free storage, and in my case away from my nosey cats paws; I don't mind the inscription "meditate - it's not banned yet" is tongue in cheek as not too long ago there was backlash against Yoga. While many look at meditation as a Buddhist "invention", it is very well used in many forms in many religion. In Christianity there's the Rosary, writings/instructions by Hildegard von Bingen, Meister Eckhard, just to mention a few. Meditation is a wonderful way to relax, restore, and together with breathing awareness an incredible way without side effects to become mindful, lower blood pressure and achieve peace of mind. I've been trying unsuccessfully to sit in a meditative pose as suggested but my knees & back didn't allow it. This cushion helped me to really sit and meditate with a comfortable strong back, without discomfort and/or distractions. The back support of this cushion is really the answer to my problems and the included pillow helps my damaged back. The cover is very comfortable and easy to keep clean. This chair is also wonderful to sit down and play with my cats, just be comfortable sorting through my books on the lowest 2 levels, or just chill. Yes, this meditation floor chair is not cheap but compared to other items on the market the only one that provides support for correct, comfortable posture. I have a couple of meditation cushions without back support but they don't work well for me. So, if I take the money spent on those, the SAMADHAAN meditation chair is rather reasonably priced. If you are looking to better your life with meditation or if a family member wants to seriously try, this chair is the very best and I highly recommend it.

I liked this fine, but not sure if it's big enough for me to really comfortably sit on the floor to meditate. But then I'm 5'10 and carry extra weight. The cushioning is nice though. It's also very expensive and not sure it's worth the price. But if you lean more towards being petite, it may work for you.

So its definitely a comfortable seat and it's made well. Materials feel nice and high quality. Works great for sitting on the floor and makes sitting on tailgate much nicer especially for long periods. I'm not sure if it's really worth the money . I personally feel like it would be worth 100 bucks maybe 150 max. Other then the price it's a good product b

I love this SAMADHAAN mediation chair , if you have trouble sitting for meditation because of discomfort, I found this helpful. I have some back problems so the back on this meditation chair is very nice. As you can see in the photo, the bottom cushion would come out farther than my legs knees if I were in full lotus. I found this uncomfortable sometimes, so I simply put blocks under my knees and it works just fine, sometimes I only needed a little more of a cushion behind me, other times I find that the meditation chair works fine with only the cushion that comes with it. I find that very helpful for my lower back. I do not enjoy meditating sitting in a regular chair, or against the wall to (supposedly) help my back. The blocks also help if you have trouble getting into lotus, or shouldn’t go into complete lotus because of an injury (I had a hip replaced, being in full lotus for long strains it too much.) It’s easy to assemble, it’s pretty much already assembled. you just need to make sure you put the brace is sticking out behind you or you will basically lie down. (see photos) This cushion chair with a bag so you can easily carry it, but I don’t think the zipper on the bag will last long, it’s already sticking. It also has a strap on the seat so you can carry it by that and not use the bag. I think it will be great to take to ball games or any place you need to sit on bleachers or a hard surface for long. Overall a really good meditation chair. Note: I’ve been using it for about a month to make sure I could give an honest review

First the good stuff. It’s super comfortable, looks nice, and stands well on its own. The cushioning is great. It folds up great and comes with a black storage case. Second, “the maybe it’s ok / maybe not.” I did think the cushion area was a tad small. I’m 5’10” and I had trouble sitting cross leggged on this without feeling like I was going to fall off. I thought the large would be, well, larger? But my knees are sort of banged up and I’m not super flexible so maybe this isn’t an issue for you. Third, for negatives. The bag, which is super convenient, is emblazoned with the phrase “Meditate - it’s not banned yet.” ?!?!? What does this even mean? Why is it on the bag? It takes something functional and makes it look cheap. Again … ?!?!? Additionally, the bottom of the metal framing sticks out from the covering. This is not a problem but metal framing has some sharper edges. Nothing that you’d get hurt on, but I could see it scratching a wooden floor or damaging a mat if you were not careful. To sum: good at the core function (depending on your size), weird bag, and mind the frame.

I got this as I like to meditate but can't really get into laying on the bed to meditate so this was a good compromise. This chair is extremely comfortable and well made. It is definitely able to withstand an adult on the floor for a half an hour or more. 5 stars!

The meditation chair is comfortable. Very good quality with adjustable pillow. I can adjust the pillow the way I want. I do not only use it while meditating, it also has a comfortable structure as a floor seat.The backrest has a fully supported structure. It supports upright posture, so my flexibility increases.
