This is a decent inflatable punching bag that technically serves its purpose. It stands about 5' tall when filled and inflated. I would keep indoors.. does not handle heat or sunlight well. My kids like it though (12, 7, and 4). Good print quality and vibrant colors. Strong smell, but that's any plastic vinyl type product. I have three boys that love to play fight and pretend to be ninjas and superheroes, so I've owned several different punching/ kicking bags, all different styles. Had high hopes for this one after reading the product description, but honestly a little disappointed. The quality is a little better than what you'd get from the dollar store, but not by much. The plastic is thinner so I wouldn't let a strong kid or older teen use it because it would probably bust with a good kick if it's filled to capacity. It has to be pumped up every day to refill the air chamber because it is leaning and sagging by morning. I assume it's because the top is too heavy for the small connector to the water bag. I get that this is so the bag can easily rotate around as it is hit, but it is a pain in the butt to have to re-inflate every single day to keep it standing up. The pump that is included is very cheap thin plastic that makes a high pitched squeal with each pump, but it works and it sure beats blowing up by mouth! Took about 10 to 15 minutes of vigorous pumping and squealing to blow up.. and an extra 2 minute pump session every morning. ... show more

This item was really easy to inflate and comes with everything you need. The foot pump is really cheaply made, so just be very careful with it. It took a bit of time to inflate, but it was easy enough to do. And it sure beats blowing it up with my mouth! There are patches included in case of an accident. The base can be filled with sand or water, which is a nice feature. I used water to fill it, and it worked out pretty well. I just took it to the tub to fill it. It was still pretty top heavy, even with the water in the base. You'll want to inflate this and leave it out for a couple of days, as the plastic oder is very strong. It went away with time, but just know that you'll want to give it some time to air out. ... show more

I really like these types of toys because kids can get exercise and move around while having fun. Unfortunately, this does not look like it will be able to hold up much longer. I think kids 10 and over will be able to break this easily. I think it's not made to take that kind of strength. I wouldn't consider this "heavy duty". It's best to leave this to the kids under 10 to play with and blow off some steam. ... show more

I recommend the Salljogo Inflatable Punching Bag for kids. It is easily inflatable with the included pump and hose and you can choose the ballast to keep it in place, water or sand will work. There is also a patch included in the box for the repair of small cuts or tears. This punching bag is perfect for youngsters, my 9 year old grandson uses it in his room to practice the finesse placement of Tae Kwon Do kicks and hand strikes. It is perfect for this type of practice rather than full out power kicks and punches. The punching bag does move quite a bit when kicked or punched because the ballast used, sand or water, doesn't seem to be enough to really anchor it in place. That is the only reason I deducted 1 Star from the overall rating. It is holding up well and still looks new even after all the Karate practice and it is bringing a lot of enjoyment to my grandson. ... show more

This thing smelled so bad for at least 3 days after opening it . It definitely had to air out after taking it out and setting it up. My son said it was pain to air up but ultimately didn't take to long to do so he said the pump that comes with it worked ok but wasn't the best and it doesn't stay up so it had to be weighted down with something but ince it's weighted it works fine for punching or kicking it .
