We started ordering this Amazon brand toilet paper after Sam’s Club stopped shipping their bulk packs to Hawaii. Living on an island means options are limited and shipping can be expensive, so we were on the hunt for a new affordable option that wouldn’t feel like a downgrade. After comparing prices and reviews, we gave this one a shot and we’ve been reordering ever since. The quality is surprisingly solid for the price. It’s not ultra-soft like some of the premium brands, but it’s also far from feeling like the rough stuff you’d find in a public restroom. I’d say it falls right in the middle—it gets the job done without making you cringe, and it holds up well without shredding or being too thin. Most importantly, it feels sturdy, and I don’t like surprises when it comes to toilet paper. No unexpected finger pokes here, thank you very much. These paper towels get the job done, but they’re nothing special. They’re decent for quick cleanups and light spills, but not as absorbent or strong as some name brands like Bounty or Viva. I noticed I have to use more sheets to do the same job, which kind of defeats the “budget-friendly” part. The texture is also a bit rough compared to premium brands.
