My nine-year-old son is an MMA and needed a punching bag to practice with. I researched every product out there and this one seem to be the best. Well so far it is. Easy to assemble and it does its job. Just make sure you understand that unless you have a very clean and non-porous surface, the suction cups will not work. I assembled the bag in my living room where I have tile and I didn’t need any sand or water at all. The suction cups were phenomenal. But when I move the bag to the garage where the floor was porous, the suction cups were useless. That’s where you need to fill in the bottom container with either water or sand. I replaced my other hanging heavy bag with this to gain more space and filled the base with rocks which I find is easier to handle than sand and makes the base more sturdy than water. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. First, the shipping was super quick (quicker than planned), it took less than a half hour to assemble, and I love the height and the allowance to kick lower than waist height. Easy to setup. I would recommend using sand to fill the base to make it more sturdy. I wish the bag was a little thicker. I ended up buying sparing gear for my feet. I decent piece of equipment for the price.

I'm a 74 year old woman who has watched boxing all my life. I currently use a speed bag but thought I'd "perfect" my skills with a body bag. This piece of equipment is ideal. And, since I'm not exactly Jess Willard.....I didn't need to fill the base with water or sand. The suction cups hold beautifully. This gives me a perfect aerobic workout and helps keep my arthritis at bay. I also have a Boxing Gym nearby that works with folks with PARKINSON'S. Boxing really helps them regain some of their coordination. As one other reviewer mentioned, the bag and base come in two separate shipments. I received the bag one day and the base the next. Haven't used it for long but so far I'm satisfied. Really good customer service when there was a problem with delivery. I'm 5'11" and starting to box for exercise. I have about 75 lbs of sand in the base right now and it's pretty good but slides a bit (I have it on carpet), I have to adjust once in a while but no biggie. I will probably be adding more sand if I feel like hitting harder later. Takes a long time to add sand which is the annoying part. Overall happy with purchase and happy to find a new way to exercise and channel frustration. For me having this at home beats taking a class with people. ... show more

I wanted a floor punching bag that was slender so I would really have to work on hitting my targets. This bag is perfect. It's very sturdy. So far I haven't had a single problem. The strap towards the bottom is perfect for low kicks. I like how it's a little bit wider than the top section. My low kicks aren't the best so I need more surface area. My 8-year old is in the 99th percentile for height and weight. They're big and REALLY strong. They wanted a punching bag to learn how to kick box, so I was looking for a punching bag that was still somewhat-child sized but very durable and can take a literal beating. The assembly instructions were very easy to follow, thanks to the full color pictures and explanations. The hardest part, is filling the base with sand. It just takes a very long time. I wish the hole had been cut larger. Overall, I highly recommend this punching bag for folks just getting into boxing. It will not be strong enough for a person with a LOT of power, though.
