I bought these to wear on a trip to Scotland. They will work as a casual and dressy shoe. I have found that they are a bit shy of the size 11 ordered. Which for me is okay as I wear anything from a 10ยฝ to an 11. Also they are a bit on the stiff side as well . So I applied a healthy dose if Hubbard's shoe grease, which I hope will loosen them up some. It did darken the leather a smidge. These shoes are both comfortable and breathable. They fit well and I especially like the fact that the laces are NOT leather, but a fabric of some sort. That means that they are flexible and tie-able! I can't manage the ties that are leather strips as they are too stiff. The quality was acceptable but the sizing I s wrong ,at least with respect to size 13. I generally wear 13D. To be on the safe side I ordered a 13W. The shoe I received was probably the equivalent of a 12.5 C. It'll stretch and after an hours wear indoors it was acceptable i.e. I could continue wearing it without a cramped feeling. ... show more
