I’m not going to lie, I didn’t have high hopes for this product after reading the other reviews. For that reason, I went with the standard punching bag in case it wouldn’t last long - being out of $50 is better than $90! But I really wanted to add this to my home gym for cardio days. I’m really glad I got this because holy hell this is a great workout! I’m still working on upper body strength, but my boyfriend also used this and he has a hell lot more strength than I do, and he loved it! He beat the crap out of it, which made me nervous after reading reviews that it doesn’t withstand heavy punches. To our surprise, it passed the test. Only complaint is that I had to adjust the pole during my workout, but my boyfriend didn’t think he secured it enough when he first put it together so I won’t deduct any stars for that. But overall, it’s great for everyone regardless of strength. You’ll be dripping sweat after doing this! My boyfriend is 6’1” and I’m 5’4” and neither of us had an issue with the height of the punching bag Update 3/1/21: So it's just under 2 months since I purchased this and it's already splitting apart at the seams. I've been the only one using it for the last 3 weeks so for it to come apart with my punches doesn't say a whole lot... this is definitely a fun product to have and share with friends/kids, but for using it seriously to workout? It won't last you very long...

It was really easy to put together. My son loves it but its not hard to knock over even with sand in the base. You can put water or sand in the base. We put sand in it for it would have a heavier base. The gloves that came with it fell apart easily. So you'll have to buy yourself a better pair of boxing gloves if you want to use them.

This punching bag has been an experience since it arrived. First, I struggled setting this up. It was super confusing, but I’m also not great at building things so that could just be on me. I’ll take the heat there. However, once I managed to somehow get the punching bag set up, blowing up the punching bag was awful. I literally sat through an entire hour long episode of a kdrama attempting to get any air into that thing. It was a failed attempt. I finally asked my husband to do it even though I really wanted to prove I could do it on my own. He was able to get it blown up in less than five minutes. Maybe it was human error yet again. Alas, it added to this crazy experience. Finally, it’s almost completely ready to start taking some punches. I decided to fill the base with water. Once filled I plugged it close and it was ready to be punched. I gave it quite a few punches between then and today, but then the whole stand came out of the base. I don’t think it’s broken, but now I will find out if my final punch was fatal to the poor punching bag. If so, I think I’ll need to upgrade. Thanks for the experience, it’s been a wild ride!

I ordered this boxing bag for my 13 year old son who needed exercise during this pandemic to take on some serious exercise and to excise any frustrating times he encountered. I let him choose the product he wanted. He was being very conservative in his choice. When we opened the box, we were pleasantly surprised, and pulled the bag out first to blow up with the pump, which mimicked a toy used to blow up balloons for children. Okay, first not so good sign. I blew up the bag, and set up the stand, and filled it up with water on the bottom to make it as heavy as possible. No issues there. His first hit popped the bag. I also have to write in this review that my son wanted to try the bag again, and hesitantly, i bought a second one, just to give it a chance. I should have known better. Same issue. Do not recommend at all, cheaply made, you get what you pay for. Its better to spend the money on an expensive product once, then on a cheap product many times.

The product is cool and fun to use but the black plastic piece inside broke kind of shattered I guess and ended up popping the bag now I have to trim the broken plastic off and fix the bag with a patch and then maybe this will not happen again I suggest trimming the black plastic piece inside that cones around the bag in the beginning so to avoid puncture of the punching bag itself

I don't usually write reviews but I decided to for this one. This product is amazing but has a couple of flaws that can easily be corrected. The first one is the screw on head. It's just one screw that holds the head to the top shaft, and it gets loose very easily while punching. All you have to do is get some Loctite thread locker and apply some to the threads and post. Done, it doesn't come off again! The second is top shaft does not have holes to lock it into the bottom shaft and merely clamps the pole. First method is to line it up properly with the indentations, it'll make more sense when you get it. Once it's lined up slowly screw it in and tighten hard, this will cause a deeper indentation in the shaft resulting in a stronger clamp. This works well but if you want an even better lock just get a drill and drill through the indentation and viola, the lock now screws into the pole as opposed to just clamping it.
