Wow. Just wow. I am a physically fit 60-year-old woman. I have a rather large garden of perennial flowers. I have over 10 very large flower beds just in the back part of our property. I have always trenched around my bed with a flat-blade shovel and then lay in the tub for an hour over several days due to my back being fried. I finally saw this on Amazon and read the reviews, and thought I would give it a try. My husband assembled it, which took him about 15 minutes. It comes with two batteries and a charger. I took it out this morning and was shocked at its power. You are not going to use this to dig a whole new flower or vegetable garden. I have a cordless tiller that does that. This thing goes through thick grass and turns out rocks. It was churning up 4 -5 inch rocks.I was dragging the tiller parallel to the bed and then perpendicular to the bed. I have the most beautiful trenches around my beds. They are wide, but they help hold in my mulch/compost so it doesn't creep out into the grass. I am also able to keep a clean line when I mow around the beds. You can use this to till up weeds, but be careful not to get too close to your flowers! I would suggest cutting or mowing down the grass before using it, your taller grass and weeds will wrap around the tines. I stopped periodically and pulled out the large strands of grass and weeds, which were super easy. Battery life: I was out there for a half hour doing some beds and stopped because the sweat was rolling in my eyes, and it is only 8:30 am, July in Virginia. Out of the 4 bar indicator, it was only down to 3 when I brought it into the garage. I cannot tell you how much I love this tiller. If you have limited arm strength, it may not be your thing, depending on what exactly you are tilling.

Makes short work of weeding! If youre like me- I hate stooping over and pulling weeds- but love a well kept garden. Using for my front yard berm about 50' X 20" in size to keep weeds from creeping in on my flowers. Arrived and used same day-during extreme heatwave. Came with some charge on batteries. It's not a TroyBuilt- but certainly loosens dry, packed down soil in tight areas- tills about 6 inches down, does not till hard clay. Great for keeping weeds out out garden or berms. Solid unit, has weight to hold the front down while working, easy to remove tines for cleaning. 2 batteries hold a charge a long time. Best purchase I've made for MYSELF- and SO glad I did! Get gardening the easy way! Works as described.

So far this is a great tool. I used this to fill up a few garden beds and it worked great. Like other reviews said, it does great with small beds, and will till harder dirt, you just need to go over it a few times. I will say, it is easy to use, However you need to be careful as there isn't a great guard on the back of it, so when you pull it back towards you, you risk hitting your feet with the blades, so you really need to be mindful. The battery lasted a few hours, which was surprising. Will update my review after a few months of use if anything changes.

Easy to assemble. Seems durable. Works great for my raised bed garden. Has plenty of power and one battery lasted long enough to do my whole garden which is 975 sqr ft. The small size makes it easy to maneuver around corners and close to plants. It has a little bit of weight to it, which helps the blades get a good bite on the soil, but not so heavy I can't lift it and carry it around where I need it. It has a good dig depth for soil aeration and to keep weeds down. It beats weeding and aerating manually and cuts my work time in half. IMO-I would recommend this little tiller for small jobs after initial work with a regular tiller to keep garden maintained and control weeds.

LOVE my little cultivator!!! It works perfectly to weed my flower beds, prepare spaces for planting and blend dirt with compost. It is light, easy to handle and narrow enough to get between plants. Love that I don't have to hoe or wait for my husband to use large heavy rotitiller. The battery does not have LONG charge however it comes with 2 and they charge quickly. This is a MUST have!!!

Work horse! I used in a small area with clay soil and LOTS of rock. This little machine plowed right through. The battery lasted about 45 minutes running wide open. Came with 2 batteries. It is a little difficult to get the battery off other than that it is well worth the money.

I am impressed. I used this to turn up the sod for a new flower bed. It did a good job. Now, it is not the same as a full size tiller. So, I don’t recommend comparing it to one of those. It’s not too heavy which a plus for me. It dug in nicely but it didn’t pull me around. It’s simple To use and was easy to set up. It comes with two batteries and is priced right.
