    • Broken inlet refractory
I quickly turned into frustration when I realized the inlet refractory was broken not once, but twice. Despite the quick replacement, the replacement piece also ended up broken in the exact same spot.

I bought this furnace elsewhere but they are all the same. I noticed nobody in any of the reviews is using a rigidizer to seal the dangerous ceramic fibers. Its not asbestos but its not far off! You need to seal the fibers with itc-100 or a sodium silicate rigidizer. If you don't, you are at risk of developing pulmonary fibrosis, and there is no cure. ... show more
