Full disclosure, I hatch about 400-500 chickens a year and sell locally. I have mostly done this with a homemade incubator. But I am often asked by a couple elementary schools about supplying some eggs for them to hatch and they use similar incubators so I decided I wanted to try one for myself. While I can understand where people would want to knock this unit compared to others- I just couldn’t. This is a 24-egg incubator. It’s not a huge unit. Larger units it’s easier to manager temps and humidity. But for what this unit is- I think it’s great. With the ability to auto rotate eggs, it can really do most folks who might only want to hatch a few eggs like this need. My thoughts be careful on placement location bc it’s a small unit that isn’t highly insulated. Ie up at waste height on a table not the floor. Be mindful of using enough water to aid with humidity. But really if you’re a backyard chicken mom or dad or a classroom teacher just looking to do a single clutch, you can’t go wrong with this.

I am a chicken breeder and have been hatching my own eggs for about 10 years. I have not hatched eggs out of this incubator yet, but I did test the temperature and humidity for about a week and it did stay consistent and where it should be. GREAT incubator!

We have bought multiple of these small incubators. We've used bigger ones in the past but we've had such a great hatch rate from these smaller ones that we have gotten multiple of these. The best features are the external water inlets and the built in candler light. By not having to open the lid to add water (like we do with the bigger one) we've been getting 96-100% hatch rate! Highly recommend!

Impossible instructions for changing the settings. 4 attempts to message the company and they gave NO answers. They just kept asking for amazon receipts and personal information. Terrible customer service. I needed to find the information on youtube. The machine itself is nice but does not hold its temp and often all over the place. My hatch rate will be quite low due to hot spots. I would not recommend due to the difficulty in changing settings.

Very easy to use. Will be putting chicken eggs in next week to start hatching more chickens especially with the costs of eggs. Need all the eggs I can get. Like that it includes the humidity monitor.

I recently tried this 24-egg incubator for hatching, and it works pretty well. It has 4 modes for different types of eggs, which is handy. What we have here is a 24 egg incubator for hatching eggs! Wow! This is a great learning tool for any young mind with a strong interest in breeding or hatching various types of eggs. For example, chicken, duck, quail, etc. The incubator is preprogrammed with three auto modes. The auto temperature control has a warm air flow and a cold airflow to keep temperature stable. Humidity is also controled and accurate. You are able to check the eggs development over time. The auto stop feature is awesome because it will auto turn all your eggs at the correct moment. Water levels can also be monitored. A super excellent tool for the chicken breeders. Good day!
