  • Good quality
The corms were good quality and are now popping out of the dirt less than two weeks after I planted them.

  • Tiny Bulbs With Big “Please Grow” Energy
The corms arrived healthy, firm, and ready to plant. They were a good size, not shriveled or sad, and the instructions were straightforward. Now we wait and see if I can keep them alive long enough to see blooms. Pros: Healthy, firm corms Good size and consistent quality Easy to plant Clear instructions Cons: Growing saffron requires patience I may or may not possess Only 10 corms, so don’t expect a saffron empire Wildlife may see them as snacks Overall: Overall, these are good‑quality corms for anyone wanting to try growing saffron. I’ll update once they sprout — or if the squirrels get to them first. ... show more

  • They have sprouted
I planted them last week and the sprouting has begun.

  • Waste of money.
They didn't germinate. They did rot in the soil. Don't recommend

  • These particular bulbs just weren’t superior
I’m an expert on bulbed plants - been a hobby of mine for 40 years, and this is the first time ever I’ve had them not either grow as they should, or just die. Both happened and I’m stunned. 9 of the 10 were somewhat viable when I received them. A week later, 3 more died. After all this time- from day I received them until today? 1 is left. This was too expensive of an investment to make. ... show more

  • Excited for the blooms! Excited for the blooms!
I always loved crocuses and saffron so I decided I would try to grow my own saffron… I received 10 bulbs and more than 10 tips have already penetrated up through the soil! Very pleased.

  • Belated Mother's Day Gift Belated Mother's Day Gift
10 corms arrived today on time and 9 of them were in great condition, healthy & already sprouting in the bag even though it's mid May. The last one got a squeeze and it crumbled into powder. I tossed it in the bin and sanitized the table. I've seen others count off for this but I honestly expected at least one to be a dud. No big deal in my book. The instructions are clear & concise for outdoor growing. Indoor growing or aero methods will take some research on the customer's part. I planted them indoors and am working on slowly getting them acclimated to my season schedule. 5/5, I would buy again from this seller! Edit: 5 of the 9 are pushing up spears under a 50w grow light in 50% potting soil, 30% coarse sand, 20% perlite. I've watered once more since the initial potting when the top 2in was dusty dry. ... show more
