5-27-24 It sucks for you, 2. The Safety Shower Grab Bar 2-pack by Hertz came, and I wasted no time, pumping it up, attaching it to my shower wall. It went right to solid, as I timidly at first, but pulled harder and harder as I dared, and it stayed. I weigh 175lbs and it should be able to help me, should I get dizzy and have to grab it, to avoid falling down, as I go down to my knees, to avoid a potential fall. I have bigger hands, and it fit me, w/ room to spare, so that's another concern avoided. I had an accident about 1 1/2 years ago, but a hospital rehabbed me better, except for dizziness and slight double vision. So, I did get mostly better, but have been concerned about falling ever since. - You can lose a lot of personal privileges, staying in a hospital, so I'm gonna be careful, and this product should help me do that, should it continue to hold, as long as I remember to pump it up, in-between uses. The red warning stripe is a good reminder. Just hope it continues to work as good, each time I affix it to a wall. So far, so good. Oh - glow in the dark? That's even better.

I bought the grab bars in white. I was very impressed that they stayed in my shower without falling. However, after a couple of days the one fell down. I cleaned per instructions again but it would stay on for a short while and then I was able to watch the button slowly move up until the red line showed. Then it fell off again and again. The other bar works with no problem. I’m thinking of using double sided tape to keep it on the wall.

I received this item today and immediately wanted to put them up. However, they do not work. When you first put them on the suction is very tight. Then the bar slowly starts raising back up above the red line. My shower is smooth tile so there is no reason for this. They just will not retain their suction even five minutes. Sending back. Disappointed as I needed these and didn’t need the hassle of a return. Not worth the one star.
