  • Perfect in my PS5
Capacity: 2TB Style: PCIe 4.0-7300MB/s(S880)
Works fantastic in my PS5. I installed a heat sink with this because it was recommended by Sony. Fast memory and it works just as well as the original built-in drive.

  • Regret not buying sooner!
Capacity: 2TB Style: PCIe 4.0-7300MB/s(S880)
It’s been about a month now since I bought this 2tb M.2 SSD to install and increase internal storage on PS5, I so regret not doing this earlier. The install was easy although I suggest watching a few videos on YouTube for assistance, the SSD is lightning fast, comes with full 2TB and I’ve been super happy. I also didn’t install any extra heating as it comes ready to go and again, a month in with no issues as for heat or noise or anything else. ... show more

Capacity: 2TB Style: PCIe 4.0-7300MB/s(S880)
I have had this for almost a month now no issues works great and the best part I did not have to put a heatsink on it. I have a lot more storage on my PS5 know for more games. Oh and it’s fast on my load times too. The price is way better than the other brands too.

  • Very Impressive SSD
Capacity: 2TB Style: PCIe 4.0-7300MB/s(S880)
I had some trepidation buying an SSD from a company (Fanxiang) I've never heard of but I have heard of very good things about the 3D NAND chips from Yangtze Memory Technologies Corp (YMTC) which is supposedly used in the SSD so I was very interested in trying it out. Wow! I am super impressed! The SSD itself looks just as well made as other better known brands and I appreciated that it came with a tiny screw and screw driver in the kit. I migrated my Dell XPS desktop from a smaller SK Hynix PC801 NVMe 512GB SSD to the larger 2TB Fanxiang S880 SSD. While they both have approximately the same rated speed, my computer actually feels faster with the new Fanxiang. CrystalDiskMark gives the following results: [Read] SEQ 1MiB (Q= 8, T= 1): 7047.477 MB/s [ 6721.0 IOPS] < 1189.05 us> SEQ 1MiB (Q= 1, T= 1): 5063.660 MB/s [ 4829.1 IOPS] < 206.96 us> RND 4KiB (Q= 32, T= 1): 512.761 MB/s [ 125185.8 IOPS] < 247.49 us> RND 4KiB (Q= 1, T= 1): 67.996 MB/s [ 16600.6 IOPS] < 60.12 us> [Write] SEQ 1MiB (Q= 8, T= 1): 6597.671 MB/s [ 6292.0 IOPS] < 1266.55 us> SEQ 1MiB (Q= 1, T= 1): 5464.139 MB/s [ 5211.0 IOPS] < 191.74 us> RND 4KiB (Q= 32, T= 1): 471.844 MB/s [ 115196.3 IOPS] < 277.60 us> RND 4KiB (Q= 1, T= 1): 265.445 MB/s [ 64805.9 IOPS] < 15.35 us> These are very good results for a Gen 4 NVMe SSD. The SSD runs very cool (43 C) and so far, I'm extremely happy with my purchase. It has been running flawlessly in my computer and I hope that it will remain reliable in the long term. I am now a big fan of Fanxiang and will be using their products when I upgrade my other computers. It's always exciting when I discover a new brand that I like. ... show more

  • 4TB S880 (MAP1602A, YMTC 232L TLC) is single-sided, efficient, and has good sustained write speeds
Capacity: 4TB Style: PCIe 4.0-7300MB/s(S880)
These comments were written in July 2023 and apply to the 4TB S880 NVME drive purchased from LDCEMS and shipped from Amazon. The 4TB drive is single-sided. The drive has a Maxio MAP1602A controller and YMTC 232L (X3-9070) TLC NAND running, presumably, at 2400 MT/s. CrystalDiskInfo shows that the device standard is NVME 2.0. CrystalDiskMark 8.0.4 x64 reports: SEQ1M Q8T1: 7125.57 MB/s (r), 6511.03 MB/s (w) SEQ128K Q32T1: 7117.04 MB/s (r), 6460.51 MB/s (w) RND4K Q32T16: 3816.99 MB/s (r), 4208.21 MB/s (w) RND4K Q1T1: 73.99 MB/s (r), 334.87 MB/s (w) The sustained write speed was approximately 1.8 GB/s until the drive got to about 45% full, at which point the write speed dropped to approximately 0.8 GB/s until the drive was full. The temperature according to CrystalDiskInfo always remains below a cool 49 degrees Centigrade, even under sustained writes that filled up the drive. This was using a motherboard heatsink. No throttling was observed. • Thermal Paste Bomb
Capacity: 2TB Style: PCIe 4.0-7300MB/s(S880)
I purchased this SSD June 6th 2024 and within 6 months of light use, it basically exploded. I was editing a photo in lightroom classic when the unit unexpectedly ejected from my computer. When i grabbed the enclosure it was so hot that I couldn't pick it up and had to wait for it to cool down. When opening the enclosure, I found thermal paste everywhere and it appears as if this m.2 heat up so much it nearly melted. I contacted their customer service via email on December 28th and have yet to receive a response. I also forwarded the email to a representative in the US market and will update this when I receive a response. I'd like to continue to purchase their products and hope this was a defective unit and not a representation of the quality of their products. ... show more
