I was still using the previous model until I got this one. The quality has greatly improved! Installation is simple and they have great video support for installation. The manual is well-written and clearly explains everything. The picture quality is very good. I installed my rear camera above the inner side of the rear windshield. If you get rear-ended, your insurance company will love the video. This is an excellent bang for the buck. They even give you a USB digital card reader. I did wire the camera directly to the fuse box with a kit (bought separately). Wires are hidden, it looks excellent. Have tested this camera very thoroughly. I'm happy with it. Getting an identical setup for my wife's car.

I have purchased the previous version of this dash cam, and it's nice to see the quality has continued with the new version. I especially like that a memory card was included for simple plug and play function. It's simple to adjust to your windshield and lock in place. Image quality is great and looks like any video you would take with your camera. Most importantly the dash cam turns on and immediately starts recording when you turn your car on so you always have footage while driving. I would recommend this dash cam to any of my friends and family.
