EDIT: The company reached out to me and provided helpful instructions on how to resolve the issue. They also sent a video that was very helpful. Thank you very much for the quick service and support. Bought for dad with mobility issues. He really liked the quality, features, and ease of use while in use. However, seat can be dangerous for elderly people. Very difficult for parents to unfold seat and lock into place. Beware of seat when not fully locked, it can collapse and cause serious injury. After unloading from vehicle, mom pulled up on seat but it did not lock in place even though it seemed to be fully upright. She sat down and seat folded onto her leg, caused her to fall over and trapped her underneath. Had to wait for dad who has difficulty walking to try to help her up. Her leg is luckily not broken but she is sore and bruised. With all the audible warnings, backup alerts, and other commands this scooter yells out, you would think the seat not locking in place would be more clear and give you a warning. The scooter works well but, for me, is rather small.

This scooter is well designed and easy to assemble. However , if you are large, you may find it a little small. I weigh about 165 lbs and find it a little cramped. On the other hand, it fits in a car rather easily so we can't have everything. Some of the good things are (1) it is quite stable. it automatically slows down when you make a turn, (2) it goes 6 mph; other scooters in this class go 4 to 5 mph. (3) When placed in backup mode a voice comes on telling you that you are backing up resulting in far fewer accidents. (4) It goes over the small lip on a driveway apron very easily. The wheels do not catch and rip the control handle out of your hands. (5) it has an easily readable digital speedometer. ... show more

As much as I love the mobility I now have with this scooter, I must report how unhappy I am with this company's customer service. Their pledge to het back to you within 24 hours is false. Recently the button to the horn came off. I have contacted them by email and have called leaving message..... both have been unanswered and it has been now over three weeks..... luckily it is not a major issue but for those planning on buying this could be.... sorry to report this..... ... show more

I'm in my 40s and have some trouble with my legs, but this scooter has really changed my life! The foldable design is effortless, and the stability on uneven sidewalks and curbs is remarkable. The 25 miles to the charge and the 3 speeds gave me everything I was looking for. Its compact and sleek design fits perfectly in my son's trunk, so we can easily take it on weekend trips. It's like I've been given a second chance at life. But the real joy is in the smooth ride.The seat is comfy for my achy bones, and the basket up front is perfect for my bags and goodies.
