I've had this running consistently every day to charge/power to my laptop, run two additional monitors (3rd one is on HDMI from the laptop), and connect different peripherals for the last 8 or 9 months. It gets a workout every day and is still going. As you can see, I used Velcro to attach it to the side of my desk. It gets moderately warm, but I've only had to reset it a couple of times, which is probably more due to the laptop than this hub. Before this one I had one with the same setup and it got hot and failed within 30 days. Everything connects well, I charge stuff on it, and overall it has been a great product. Great value for the money spent.

UPDATE: I was originally very pleased with this gadget, but have noticed that it overheats (gets super hot to the touch too) and then my monitors go black for anywhere from 1-20 seconds or so. It’s very annoying and makes it difficult for me to work remotely, especially if I am presenting in a meeting. ******* I was experiencing problems connecting my two existing portable monitors to my newly-issued laptop. It seemed my Will laptop’s USB-C ports were only providing power to the monitors, but not video. When I use this adapter/splitter, both of my monitors work like a charm and require only USB-C cable connections — No additional power cables or HDMI cables are necessary. Love this!

My old docking station failed, so I decided to buy this one as a replacement. It is compact, lightweight, and had the ports I need for a good price. I connected my two external monitors, printer, etc. and turned on my laptop. Everything worked perfectly right away. My only complaint is that the USB-C cord, which goes to my laptop, is rather short, so I cannot easily hide it behind my equipment. The connecting cable is permanent, so I can't switch out the cable for a longer one. Note, this docking station requires a USB-C power cord in order to charge the laptop, and that is not included. I already had a good power cord, so no problem. If anything changes, I will update my review.

Wanted to have the option for two USB C display ports and two USB C 10g data ports in one device. This was the only option I could locate. Confirmed the data ports do support 10gbps via external NVME drive. Confirmed each display port would drive an external monitor via a USB C to HDMI cable. Also confirmed that the data ports will NOT do displays, and the display ports will NOT do data. Fine with me for my needs. Also was able to power my Gram 16 via the PD-in on the hub. Untested so far: Anything more than one Display out and one data connection simultaneously. So far, 5 stars for everything working initially, and the unique capabilities of Alt Mode display plus data in a single hub.

I recently bought two Dell monitors and a stand up desk from FB, and I have a windows laptop and MacBook for school (I am a college student that loves to use MacBook for everyday use but use the windows for Analytics/Excel purposes). Previously, I had one Samsung monitor I used at school that I connected with hub to HDMI. However, these monitors I purchased had DP to DP, so I needed to buy a new hub that had two DP. I bought this hub and it has worked great so far. I will note that I can only use both monitors at the same time with the windows laptop, as the MacBook cannot extend to two monitors and can only be used with one monitor at a time. But overall, this product is great and I am able to connect my mouse/keyboard via USB and have everything on one connector for easy accessibility. I love the setup and the hub has been a great purchase for what I needed, something easy to use and not too expensive. I do anticipate the hub to get hot when using the monitors for a long time. Totally recommend this product!

I could not get this to output to two pairs of XR glasses at all. Even with just the Xreal Ones connected, it would not display anything. This is a deal breaker, especially since I will probably be buying the Xreal One Pro soon, and would want to use both when splitting a 3D movie to 2 outputs, so that both could have 3DoF. Now the Xreal Air 2 did display an image initially when connected, but failed entering SBS mode (which I am unlikely to use a hub like this outside of, since, if I just wanted to share a 2D movie, it would be far more convenient to use a projector). This might be fine for running multiple portable monitors off of a single laptop's USB-C port, but if you want a good splitter for XR, go with the NewQ hub. Yes, that hub does require an extra charge-and-play adapter on the end port, with the PD passthrough being on the same port as one of the Alt DP ports. But it costs $20 less, which is enough to get said charge-and-play adapter. And it works. This may look more convenient with it's dedicated PD port, but, it just didn't work. Maybe I just got a defective one, but I don't feel like finding out the hard way. I have a solution that works.

I am only just now replacing my previous Selore Docking station with this one, and it works perfectly, connecting to my 49' monitor with no problems, charging with a consistent power supply, and accepting a USB for my external mouse. It fits great, and the speed brings it up to par while using dozens of browsers at once with no lag.
