  • Rustic Charm Meets Functionality – A Stunning Barn Door Upgrade!
Size: 36x84in + J Shape
The S&Z TOPHAND 36” x 84” British Brace Knotty Barn Door with sliding hardware is everything I hoped for and more. From the moment it arrived, I could tell this was a solid, high-quality piece of craftsmanship. The knotty wood gives it that authentic farmhouse charm, while the British brace design adds a timeless rustic touch. Assembly was straightforward and easy to manage, and the included 6.6FT sliding hardware kit made installation a breeze. Once installed, the door glides smoothly and quietly, instantly transforming the room with a modern farmhouse feel. I also love that it comes unfinished, giving you the freedom to stain or paint it to match your space perfectly. Whether you leave it natural for a rustic look or finish it for a more polished style, it’s incredibly versatile. If you’ve been looking for a way to add character and functionality to your home, this barn door is a show-stopping statement piece that delivers both charm and durability. ... show more

  • Easy and fast install
Size: 36x80in + J Shape
Very happy with the barn door. It took me about 1 hour for the install. I did have to reduce the height of the unit and was able to cut 1” off the top and bottom of the door. If your like me and need one of these units a couple inches shorter be confident in knowing it will work and still hold its structural integrity ... show more

  • Great
Size: 36x84in + J Shape
This looks great we had issues with being able to hit studs in the predrilled holes which is why I deducted a star. I wish the bar had just come solid without holes predrilled because now we are left with extra empty holes and it looks incomplete. We also had an issue on one side with the bolts hitting the door frame which we resolved by recessing the bolts into the door. I didn’t deduct any stars for this because honestly this may have just been an issue from our builders and the way they did the frame. Over all for the quality this is crazy. For this price you couldn’t buy the materials and hardware to make it yourself without paying at least double what this whole kit cost. I was SHOCKED to find it’s made from real solid wood and is HEAVY! We added a mirror on top of ours and let me tell you that thing isn’t going anywhere! ... show more

  • Well Made-Quality-Value.
Size: 44x84in + J Shape
The overall quality of this product and the value it represents are both outstanding. The hardware is excellent. The customer service for replacement or missing small parts is outstanding. Humans answer the phone and promptly send out parts requested. I recommend it, and would purchase it again, but buyers should be aware of some realities. To assemble the door and properly attach the hardware on solid backed lumber (header or studs) is essential, and it takes far more than the 30 minutes the installation manual claims. Use at least a two foot level to ensure the rail is perfectly level and firmly bolted to solid substrate. The door is heavy. Get help in moving it from where it’s being assembled to hanging it on the rail. The instructions are imperfect, unclear and can lead to frustration. Triple check measurements provided. The final result is really quite beautiful. Take your time. ... show more

  • Don't waste your time or money
Edit: 3/26/23, a week after this review I finally was able to hang my door, and I find out that my wood is warped. It doesn't slide right and it hangs up on the stops. I am changing my two star review to a one-star review. Won't buy from this company again. It has taken me a little bit to write this review because I wanted to give all the good things about this door it's due. I purchased a 40 inch wide door. The door was very easy to assemble and the wood seemed like good quality wood. So that was the first thing I did was assemble the door. It was the easiest part of all of this. When I opened up the packaging for the hardware, everything seemed to be good quality. But as I laid the rail out for me to determine where it needed to go above my doorway, I realized that they had given me the bare minimum of railing for me to hang a 40 inch wide door. Realistically, if you have a 40 in wide door you need double that to clear your opening when you slide it back. I was given a 79 inch rail, that also had to have stops installed on each end, so I was already in the negative. I could have made it work and added a 12-in extension rail to it, but there were no extension holes drilled at the end of the railing. So in order for it to work with my door opening one end of the rail had to go exactly at the edge of my woodwork. Which means that the first hole that was drilled in the rail was seven and a half inches from there. So I wasn't even able to grab a stud with the first lag screw because of where the placement of the holes were drilled. I called Amazon and told them that I was running into issues with the rail and that I needed the company to send me a longer one, I even offered to pay extra money to do that and I told them that I would send back their 79 inch rail. Amazon gave me the number to call S&Z's customer service and for 2 weeks I tried to call and leave a message but the mailbox was full. Finally one day, I was able to leave a message. I gave them my name my order number and what I needed and I never heard a word from them. I tried to call them back for another week and still nothing. I called Amazon and told them I was having trouble getting in touch with them so they contacted the company theirselves and Amazon could not get resolution or a response from them either. Amazon offered a return and a refund for my trouble, but I had already put the door together, it seemed less of a hassle to try to figure out what to do with the railing then to try to figure out how to get the door apart and send it back. I could have ordered another rail but it would have cost me another $129 for a 7 ft rail, and at this point, it was the principle of the thing. I ordered my door in January of 2023 and it is now middle of March and I still do not have the barn door up. Because of where the placements of the holes are in the rail and the sheetrock anchors they gave me did not have a stop ledge on them, so when I put them into the wall and tried to screw the lag bolts in they just pushed back into the sheetrock. I did not want to use a header board to install this barn door because the header board would have come out past my trim mold and it would have kicked my door out too far. So I have finally found a half inch wide headerboard to use and I will attach the railing to that and hopefully I can get it hung this weekend. Oh, and the instructions to hang were useless. Would I buy from this company again? Probably not....NOT because of the quality of the door or hardware, but strictly because of the customer service of the company. If you are going to sell products in the United States through Amazon please make sure that your customer service is top notch, because that's what we expect. ... show more

  • Board separation
Size: 36x84in + J Shape
Hard to put together due to a warped board, but eventually got it with some clamps. It was nice and tight. After hanging, the boards started separating. A year later, they are still separating and there are visible spaces showing up between boards. Looks nice from across the room.

  • Great door! Amazing Customer Service!
Size: 36x80in + J Shape
The door is solid and pretty easy to put together. Like many reviewers , I too needed a header board. They can be had pretty cheap from home depot. The package was missing the door stops , one quick amazon message to Phoebe and crew , and they had it shipped right out. I also bugged them prior to purchase and they were able to supply very detailed measurement instructions. ... show more
