The package arrived in pretty good condition but one corner was a bit dented and the tape had split apart. This was the corner where the smaller package containing the bolts was situated. The bolts package was also damaged and all of the longer bolts had fallen out - gone (I later found 2 of what should have been 16) Otherwise the rest of the wood pieces appeared undamaged. I reached out to the seller of this product (OJCommerce located in Houston TX) They have a few options to reach out about problems and I tried them all. Somewhat surprisingly I got responses to both the voicemail I left at East West Furniture and the message I sent through the Amazon website, and I was even able to reach someone at OJCommerce on the phone. They sent a new package of bolts and then the frame was really easy to assemble. It was kindof annoying to have to wait a few extra days for the bolts but that isn't really the fault of the manufacturer (made in Vietnam) of the seller. I have only been using it a couple days and so far it seems plenty sturdy. Other reviews mentioned it being a different size than their mattress; I got the king size and it matches up to my mattress just fine. End of the day- I would recommend this bed frame and I would say that OJCommerce has good customer service.

Pretty, Unsure Long Term

We have a vintage walnut headboard that needed a close match for a bed frame and this does the job. Simple to build and it looks like but the slats made me a little worried about how long it will last. Also packages with so many tiny pieces of styrofoam sticking to the wood, it was a mess. decent quality but completely different color, not just a difference in tone online

The pictures online is not what you will get, you will get a butcher block pattern (lots of rectangular tones) when the picture is clearly a solid tone. I wrote them with close up of pictures and proof and they wrote back that differences of tones can occur depending on viewing screen. I let them know that is not the case and explained myself again and they never wrote back, so I say enjoy my honest review. It seems solid and decent otherwise but doesn't match and my wife had already started assembling it by the time I got back from work so I didn't try to return it.

Holds the mattress up

Does not look like real oak—looks like pressed wood pieced together. Since it is low to ground and not right next to actual oak, it is not too bad. The mattress hangs over a bit head to foot and the frame is not quite wide enough, so there is a gap at sides. Since there is nothing to keep mattress from shifting, this gap is about 4” on my side of the bed. No gap on husbands side. We’ve tried shifting mattress so the gap is centered, but it keeps shifting to my side.
