This jump pack is excellent and works well for my use case. It’s so much more convenient to be able to just swap out a battery that is already charged and ready to go vs having to wait on the jump pack itself to recharge. It can be immediately put back into service. The only slight negative, is that I wish it were more compact like some of the other options on the market. When my wife's 2020 Subaru Outback battery died in town while she was at the grocery store, the Ryobi Jump Starter started the car so she could drive it back home. This 7-year-old car battery was completely dead according to the AAA tow truck driver, but the Ryobi Jump Starter started the car and made it drivable. Just follow the instructions on the jump starter and you're good to go. I carry this product in the car, but you do need a charged-up Ryobi battery in the charger for it to work. Buttons did not work. Seller would not contact me back. I asked for a new jumper pack instead of having my money returned and I did not get a response. And I haven’t even had my money returned. I would like just to have another one just to see if the buttons did work to see how good it would jump vehicle vehicles. ... show more

My battery was replaced 6 months ago. My battery started acting weird. It did not start one day. Had it jumped. But would start for a week. The problem was getting worse. So, I bought the Jump Starter and used it for a couple weeks. I tested other components in the car. This thing worked great with my 6 month New Battery that was discovered it had bad cells Test by Auto Zone where I bought it. They replace the battery for free.
