When my wife's 2020 Subaru Outback battery died in town while she was at the grocery store, the Ryobi Jump Starter started the car so she could drive it back home. This 7-year-old car battery was completely dead according to the AAA tow truck driver, but the Ryobi Jump Starter started the car and made it drivable. My battery was replaced 6 months ago. My battery started acting weird. It did not start one day. Had it jumped. But would start for a week. The problem was getting worse. So, I bought the Jump Starter and used it for a couple weeks. I tested other components in the car. This thing worked great with my 6 month New Battery that was discovered it had bad cells Test by Auto Zone where I bought it. They replace the battery for free. This jump pack is excellent and works well for my use case. It’s so much more convenient to be able to just swap out a battery that is already charged and ready to go vs having to wait on the jump pack itself to recharge. It can be immediately put back into service. The only slight negative, is that I wish it were more compact like some of the other options on the market. This baby just saved my butt after a winter storm took out my car battery! I bought this six months but she was waiting for me like a champ with very easy to follow instructions. This saved me from having to call roadside assistance after a 12 hour night shift. Great value

Had to use it on my CRV as the battery went dead. Not even a click on the starter. Places the cables on, Pushed the power button and waited a couple of minutes for it to charge up and when the light was green I hit the key and it started right up. Small enough to take with you for emergencies and powerful to get you started. The removable battery let's you use any other Ryobi battery so it's compatible with other tools. ... show more
