I was expecting this to be more of a rubber material. And that could be my fault for not exploring the details enough before purchasing. So it is fabric and lightweight, and it moves around as you walk over it etc. I also don’t love how it attracts the lint when I clean out the lint trap. The mat looks nice and enhances the look of the laundry room. However, it moves around fairly easily. We're considering adding something to the bottom of it to help hold it place. All in all, it's a good mat. Just expect it to move.
