Soft and squishy. Fairly large, with a nice deep black color. Crumbs and crap get lost in it easy but that is not unique to this particular rug—all shag rugs of this style are like this. Light enough that you can easily shake it out but heavy enough that it stays put.

What do I say about this rug? Well in 2020 we moved into our new house. Our 12 year old dog slept under our bed. We moved from a carpeted home to one with hardwood and it was rough in her old bones. I wanted a cheap padding for her "Apartment" and I found this rug. As old dogs do this rug has seen some accidents. Vomit, poop and pee were the occasional culprits. Each time I'd roll up her "Cookie Monster" rug and throw it in the washing machine. Washed and dried and each time coming out in one piece. On April 8, 2024 my 16 year old pup went over the rainbow bridge. Wrapped up in her cookie monster rug. She wouldn't have wanted it any other way. It has seen some things in the last 4 years. It was cremated with her. In memory of our sweet pup we ordered that same cookie monster rug again. So for my review 5/5. For price, durability and well for making my sweet girls last 4 years more comfortable. Rest easy my sweet girl. ... show more

Very light rug almost as light as a blanket and folds like one. It’s very soft and fluffy which makes it hard to vacuum, it never comes clean for me esp with kids. I personally won’t buy another one but it gets the job done for now
