REALLY NICE BEST RUG and DEAL EVER!
Size: 10' x 14' (Rectangular) Color: Green/Turquoise
This rug (the 10ft x 14 ft green/blue colors-- is stunning and fresh and modern colors and the price was great. We have a big room but could never afford to get the 'bigger rug' because usually, once you go past a certain size , the price goes past our tax brackets. When I saw this one and the great deal it was, I took a chance. The colors are spot on as described. It's maybe a little richer and darker than pictured, but it depends on the light. It has changed our whole room to finally have a rug that is just the size it needs. It brings it all together and made such a drastic difference and created a cozy space with the greens. If you have plants in the room you have WON...this rug just is so nice with leaves and sunshine. LOVE IT. We already had a nice pad for our smaller rug and because it is not the thickest rug, it is nice to have the pad but not really needed if that ruins your budget to add a pad-then wait and see? Honestly love it. The light and dark oranges on the trim are very pretty and not too much. Also the splash of color is a great excuse to get in an argument with your husband about those new throw pillows you are going to sneak out and bring home soon haha.) In addition to the greens and blues, it has black, it has navy, and for the contrasting lighter areas of the rug it has a nice ombre of various grey and brown-grey going through the light areas --so if your couch is grey or beige it's going to work for you. Also- newsflash- if you have pets or kids that are going to spill on the rug, you won't see a thing and it will clean up like a dream and hide that dang dog hair until you are ready to vacuum. In addition to our beige couch we have a black leather chair and black fireplace, and dark grey and brown wood chairs in the room- the rug just brought the furniture together like we paid someone to help us. Anyhow, I don't usually ramble on like this, but this was such a steal, arrived earlier than expected (and we live in the boonies) and...I'll say it again, we just LOVE IT. YAY thanks Safavieh (note: this is a brand we've bought before so it is a very trusted brand for us from other sellers. They make GREAT rugs, quality company, and thank you Amazon.com as this is a first time ordering a big thing like this from amazon.com ..applause applause to all xo xo so AWESOME! ... show more

Family Friendly Affordable Rug
Size: 8' x 10' (Rectangular) Color: Cream/Blue
For the price, it can't be beaten. I've purchased the "cream/blue" version of the rug twice for my living room over the past 6 years or so. I love light colored rugs, but I've never been able to keep them up with a busy household and working. Overall this rug has a "light color" look to it, but the pattern and various colors make the rug busy enough to hide dirt, spills, stains etc., but not overwhelming where it's too busy looking. My cat drags his nails across it like a scratching post and you can't even tell lol. It's low pile and easy to vacuum, wipe up spills etc. It's also affordable enough that when that final spill happens where you know it's time for the rug to go, you're not mad, you're excited to just get a new 8x10 rug for under $150. I love this rug and would highly recommend it to families with kids and pets who don't want to spend a lot of money because they know they will have to get rid of their rug at some point. I'd say it lasts on average about 3 years with kids, pets and high traffic, which to me is great for the price and look. It would definitely last longer with just adults in the house. I've never deep cleaned it or anything...vacuum like once a week and spot clean as needed. It's on the thinner side, but that's my preference with a busy household. I find thicker or higher pile rugs are too hard to keep up and clean up spills or dirt. I don't use a rug pad, but I might if I was putting it in my bedroom or den just for comfort. I just plant it under my furniture so it doesn't move. The only "con" I would mention, especially if you need a specific size for any reason, is that I ordered the 8x10 both times I purchased the rug, and each one was more like 9'6"x10'1." Sizing is definitely off, but that didn't prevent me from ordering the rug again. I guess you can look at reviews if you want exact sizing for a specific color. ... show more

Designer look
Size: 9' x 12' (Rectangular) Color: Green/Turquoise
This rug is well made. The main colors of green, teal and warm cream are just gorgeous. A well-balanced, classic and timeless pattern suitable for many different settings and types of decor. A designer looking rug for an amazing price point. I purchased for my dining room. Soft to my toes and doesn’t feel stiff. This is a fantastic winner and I’m very pleased with this purchase. ... show more

Good Value, Orange and Teal are Gorgeous!
Size: 6'7" x 6'7" (Square) Color: Orange/Teal
These orange and teal rugs are exactly the gorgeous combination of colors I was looking for to liven up my enclosed patio seating areas with a non-whimsical, classy flair. They're not thick, plush rugs, but they're also not outdoor rugs. I use a rug pad underneath as my floor is ceramic tile, and they vacuum up nicely and easily. I bought two of these rugs because the enclosed patio has two distinct seating areas, both square but is a one larger area than the other. The 6'7" square rug is EXACTLY as described and shown on the product page, lays flat, is the exact size, and I give it a whole-hearted 5-star rating! The 8' square rug is an exact color and pattern match of the smaller rug, but I have to remove a star because of the 8' rug for a few reasons: 1. It is not 8' as described, but more like 7'8". Those few inches meant my furniture didn't fit comfortably with all legs on the rug as I had planned. 2. The 8' rug was a lot more crumpled in the middle when unwrapped than the 6'7" rug and still isn't completely flat after a month. Thankfully, I was able to force the remaining small, crumpled area to the edge of the rug which has furniture on it so no one will get tripped up. 3. The 8' rug was not completely square on at least one of the corners. No matter which way I turned it, the corner dipped in, if that makes sense. I have tile floors which are perfectly square and the edges of the 8' rug run along perfectly with the tiles until about 6" from the corner where it begins to slightly curve away from the tile. So, it looks like the rug is crooked, but if I straighten it to run the corner with the tile, another corner looks crooked. It's not a lot, but it bugs me whether anyone else notices it or not. If I didn't have tile with obvious grout lines, I probably wouldn't notice it either. On the other hand, the 6'7" square rug is just PERFECT! My advice on the crumples after unwrapping: turn the rug upside down when you get it, take a coffee table, end table, or something like that with a flat surface and turn it upside down in the middle of the rug and push it down and out towards the edges. Do this a few times and place something on the corners. Leave it upside down like that for a day or two and most likely it will flatten out perfectly like my 6'7" rug, and at least acceptably like my 8' rug. In summary, finally, the orange and teal rugs are a BEAUTIFUL color combination and pattern design, exactly as depicted in the product pictures, colorful but not too bright or whimsical, and they're a good quality and value. I have no regrets and would definitely buy them again! ... show more

Great quality rug
Size: 10' x 10' (Square) Color: Cream/Blue
I’ve had this rug almost three years now and I really love it. I have three cats and a senior dog so it’s held up to kittens claws and animal accidents. It cleans up easily and still looks great. My favorite part is that it’s just thick and heavy enough that it always lays perfectly flat. I have another rug that I hate because I can never get it to lay so perfectly flat. The only thing I will say is the colors aren’t as bright as in the picture. That works for me, though. ... show more

Safavieh rugs rock!
Size: 12' x 15' (Rectangular) Color: Black/Gold
Another gorgeous rug from Safavieh! As I had hoped, it has a lot of black and "greige" along with pops of bright color. Perfect for my rec loft which has lime green walls, black, gray and white furnishings, greige flooring, and curtains with pops of the same bright colors. This nice soft rug looks as though it was made especially for this room, and brings everything together perfectly. Love it! So happy! P.S: I'd like to offer advice to the ppl who rated the rug with one or two stars, who seem to have similar complaints and are, I think, unfairly blaming the manufacturer. 1) If your rug seems misshapen at first, or has weird bulges or an uneven shape, this will relax and self-correct over time as you walk on it. To speed up the process, pile stacks of books or other heavy objects on the bulges to flatten them out. 2) For the writer who complained that the rectangle shape was more like a parallelogram, the solution is to have 2 ppl-- one grabbing each diagonal corner, and pull diagonally, to stretch it into the correct shape. These rugs have a lot of potential stretchability, especially when warm, and it will work! And finally 3) As far as slippage goes, these are not like bath rugs which come with a no-slip backing that deteriorates over time and would ruin your wood floors! No one would want that! You are supposed to buy a pad for any rug, not just Safavieh brand, to increase the lifespan and comfort of your rug and to stop slippage (if you order a non-slip pad). You are supposed to trim the pad with scissors or a carpet knife so that it won't peek out and your rug edges will lie flat. I find that placing furniture on the rug with the pad also prevents slippage, even though my pad isn't labeled non-slip. Alternatively you can use small amounts of carpet tape at each corner. Hope this helps everyone! ... show more

Exceeded expectations!
Size: 6' x 9' (Rectangular) Color: Ivory/Grey Gold
This 7x9 rug arrived to my front porch within a few days of ordering. It was rolled (not folded) in protective plastic and was clean and in perfect condition upon opening. The colors are true to picture (except for a small occasional pop of an unexpected green). It is a medium pile rug, not one of those ultra thin machine wash colored stamped rugs. No rug mat needed for this rug! The ends were slightly curled from the plastic wrapping but smoothed out quickly. Overall it’s a good quality rug- suitable for any room of the house and will have years of life ahead of it. Finally, it was reasonably priced. Very satisfied with this purchase. ... show more
