I remember as a child, my parents saying that Bulova watches were the most elegant, and simply the best. I am now nearing retirement age, and both my parents are now enjoying Bulova watches in heaven; and as a testament of love for them, I finally purchased my very own Bulova watch. I am more than thrilled and satisfied with my new watch. Its beautiful blue dial, and with the classic date/day layout, I can't but smile every time I wear it. My only complaint is the cheap looking stainless steel Chinese bracelet...really Bulova? In conclusion, I know that every time the sun reflects upon my Bulova's blue dial, it's a reminder that my parents are always with me. ... show more

This is a very attractive watch, the blue face is quite stunning. It is a more expensive watch than I have ever owned, and honestly if it wasn't for a gift card from the boss and a deep discount on the price, I probably would've passed. I had a little trouble sizing it (I have a kit to push out the pins and remove links, but the pins were quite stubborn), and having to go online to find the manual to learn how to set the day and date was a pain - seriously, do you save that much money by not printing a manual and sticking it in the box? Once I figured out how though, it was easy to do. So far it keeps spot on time, and I've had several people comment on what a nice looking watch it is, and overall I'm very pleased with the purchase. ... show more

Love this timeless and class look. Masculine and beefy watch with a nice blue face that makes it easy to read. Not really different from a Rolex Day Date in terms of function: you get the time, the day, and the date at 1/100th the price of a Rolex.     • Blue face outstanding
For about 8 or 9 years the watch I had looked like a Rolex watch with day spelled at top and dated at 3 with magnifying glass. The watch was not Rolex just look like one. However, it started given me issues and in the shop it went for repairs. Meanwhile my back up watches did not have the look of the Rolex outlay and I began to search for a nice backup similar to the one in the shop. I found several but decided on the Bulova with blue face. I have had this watch for two weeks and so for I really like the watch. It seems to keep perfect time even to the second compared to my cable box. The band was huge and a inch and half length taken out. The band better than what I was expecting and really like the band. The blue surface is outstanding to look at. The day at the top is easy to read not quite was big as other watch but OK. The day at 3 is very small. If it had a magnifying glass it would be really nice to see the number better. My other watch is still in the shop and should be getting it soon. However, this new time peace just may be my new everyday watch even when the other gets out of the shop. Using the cliche only time will tell how well this new watch will keep time.
