For about 8 or 9 years the watch I had looked like a Rolex watch with day spelled at top and dated at 3 with magnifying glass. The watch was not Rolex just look like one. However, it started given me issues and in the shop it went for repairs. Meanwhile my back up watches did not have the look of the Rolex outlay and I began to search for a nice backup similar to the one in the shop. I found several but decided on the Bulova with blue face. I have had this watch for two weeks and so for I really like the watch. It seems to keep perfect time even to the second compared to my cable box. The band was huge and a inch and half length taken out. The band better than what I was expecting and really like the band. The blue surface is outstanding to look at. The day at the top is easy to read not quite was big as other watch but OK. The day at 3 is very small. If it had a magnifying glass it would be really nice to see the number better. My other watch is still in the shop and should be getting it soon. However, this new time peace just may be my new everyday watch even when the other gets out of the shop. Using the cliche only time will tell how well this new watch will keep time. I am a Bulova fan. This is a beautiful watch. Easy to set. Great price. Very accurate. The metal bracelet does feel a little cheap, but at this price that would be expected. It does fit well. Highly recommended.

Watch is crazy accurate. Nice! But wow the date could really use a magnification bubble. Even the day can't be read with out my glasses. No real lume for night reading. There may be enough lume on the hour and minute hands, but if so it's so minimal I can't see it. Readying this in the daytime is fine and accurate. Love this timeless and class look. Masculine and beefy watch with a nice blue face that makes it easy to read. Not really different from a Rolex Day Date in terms of function: you get the time, the day, and the date at 1/100th the price of a Rolex. This is the first real watch that I bought. Feels premium, and love the 39mm size. I like the looks of some of their chronographs, but they are all 44mm, which will probably be too big on my wrist. The wrist strap is VERY oversized; I had to remove six chainlink (3 on each side) to fit my wrist. Most people will need to remove at least four of them. ... show more
