Beautiful set of pans! I know there is always a discrepancy with the thickness of copper, and I started to get caught up in that until it just got way too confusing to purchase copper pans. This set may not qualify as “premium” in the world of copper pans, but I am extremely happy with them. They came beautifully packaged, are the perfect weight in my opinion, and very easy to clean. Very pretty but misleading (not seller's fault, seller is just repeating company literature) because this line is really 1.2 mm copper with the rest other materials (aluminum and steel) - and so I had to return due to I had wanted at least over 1.5mm of copper. These are unbelievable. As cookware, the quality is outstanding. They are heavy and solid. The handles are strongly riveted. The covers fit nicely. They work well in the oven and stovetop. The hammered sides are understated, looking smooth from a distance because of the brightness of the copper, but give a richer texture up close. The handles include the stainless/copper combination with an inset copper coin-like decoration, which is a really nice element. Ornate but not overdone. The pleasant surprises: I tracked the shipping carefully, and worried about their condition upon arrival. There was no need to worry, since inside the cardboard boxes, they were packed in a wooden crate. They present the meal beautifully. My wife’s first use was Beef Bergundy. Not only did it come out exceptionally (which is more her than the pan), but it looked gorgeous on the tabletop as serverware. I’ve grown to be more and more appreciative of beauty as a part of everyday life. Good presentation upgrades the whole meal experience. (And we have always cherished the family mealtime). The unexpected: In addition to all the above, they are also a statement piece for your kitchen. Just having them in sight is a truly beautiful addition to our kitchen. I absolutely love the quality and craftsmanship of this cookware. It's stunning. This set arrived in a lovely wooden crate. I was already swooning. These pans are stainless steel clad with copper pieces with nice, thick bottoms and beautifully styled handles with a little copper crest on them. They can be heated up to 450 F in the oven if you like recipes that go from stove to oven. There is some maintenance involved here. This cookware does clean up easily but these are not wipe and done pans like Ninja Foodi or other high-end nonstick. Stainless takes some getting used to and Barkeeper's Friend will become your best friend to keep them looking bright and beautiful. Beautiful pans. ... show more
