This is the deal. This "could" be for a very thin adult who has very very thin legs, but I doubt it. However, my daughter who is 8, but only weighs 50 lbs. can wear them. She has VERY thin legs. I will have to take them in a tiny bit. More so under the calf muscle and maybe a little above the calf muscle.... good news, I think sewing it will be a cinch. There is a seam straight up the back. The toe part does not wrap around a shoe like it shows in the picture. It just lays over it and there is an elastic stirrup that wraps around the shoes to hold them down. The top part seems to stand up on it's own as it has a little foam in the gold part. The fabric is really cool. I think I will add a gold strip down the front like the wonder woman in the new movie. I think an adult could take out the seam and sew in some elastic and it would work. You could cover it with gold fabric hiding the elastic. only giving 4 stars as the size listed is misleading, it's not for an adult but could be altered to be. ... show more

Purchased for a 9 year old a d they barely fit. She is an average build and wears a girls size 8 to 10 pants. These are a ladies size and we almost had to cut them to make them fit.

I am 100% satisfied with the purchase, communication, and delivery aspects of this purchase. Rubie’s Costumes gave me exactly what I paid for and it was worth every penny. My only complaint goes to the original manufacturer and not the Amazon retailer. This product is labeled as “Adult: one size fits all.” Lemme tell you something, I’m 5’1”, 120 pounds, and I wear children’s shoes because my feet are too small for adult shoes. I could just barely squeeze into these boots. If you weigh more than 145 pounds or have a shoe size larger than a women’s 8, you will not be able to get them on. So buyer beware. ... show more

I read all the reviews prior and actually bought them with the intent on my 5 year old using them. Reviews were spot on! These are cute boot covers however despite the packaging saying adults 14+ it will pretty much only fit kids. My daughter wears a 1 in kids and there is little stretch past her boots so id say up to a 2 maybe 3 in kids. The leg or calf portion was only a tad wider than my arm. So if you want them for oyour kids or youre an adult that can wear a kids size these are a great item. Average adult keep shopping. ... show more

I liked the boot covers but if you have bigger than average legs they’re not going to fit. They also didn’t go over my shoes and I wear 51/2 women’s shoe.

They are fairly good quality, but the foot is very tiny. I would say it would work if your feet are no bigger than a size 6 or 7 in ladies. We will have to modify the foot to make it bigger with some additional fabric.
