I read all the reviews prior and actually bought them with the intent on my 5 year old using them. Reviews were spot on! These are cute boot covers however despite the packaging saying adults 14+ it will pretty much only fit kids. My daughter wears a 1 in kids and there is little stretch past her boots so id say up to a 2 maybe 3 in kids. The leg or calf portion was only a tad wider than my arm. So if you want them for oyour kids or youre an adult that can wear a kids size these are a great item. Average adult keep shopping. ... show more

    • Horrible fit for a size 8 shoe... shoe size is more like a girl's size than woman's
These are nowhere near 1 size. I wear a size 8 shoe and it didn't even cover up to the bottom of my toes in the shoes. They are thin, rip easy and do not look good at all wearing when they don't have full shoe coverage. My grandson's costume shoe covers worked better than these. Do not purchase if your shoe size is not about a 4 or smaller. ... show more

I am 100% satisfied with the purchase, communication, and delivery aspects of this purchase. Rubie’s Costumes gave me exactly what I paid for and it was worth every penny. My only complaint goes to the original manufacturer and not the Amazon retailer. This product is labeled as “Adult: one size fits all.” Lemme tell you something, I’m 5’1”, 120 pounds, and I wear children’s shoes because my feet are too small for adult shoes. I could just barely squeeze into these boots. If you weigh more than 145 pounds or have a shoe size larger than a women’s 8, you will not be able to get them on. So buyer beware. ... show more

    • Okay for Halloween
Overall, it worked OK my costume. The only thing is that the foot did not cover my shoe. It seems that it would cover over any shoe, but it does not stay. There’s just a bottom, elastic part to hold it down. And there’s only one size with very little give in the fabric.

These boot tops were too small to fit over the boots I was wearing for my costume. The quality of the item was good and they would have been able to perform the function they were meant for, but could not get them over the foot area. They did look good, but had to return them.

Way too small for an adult. I wear small in everything but this is basically for kids. Super sad and disappointing to find out. Quality is okay for the price. Just inaccurate description.

    • If you don't have stick legs, these are not the product for you.
I ordered the supergirl costume, and the boot toppers that it came with were way too small - those were marked Small, which made sense since I ordered a small costume. So I decided to try these, because they were "one size fits all," which I assumed would be bigger than the small that came with my costume. These were the exact same size. Maybe this is "one size fits all children?" I have very skinny calves (chicken legs really) and these were so tight on my legs I thought they were going to cut off my circulation. There was no way I could even get the bottom part over shoes. Very disappointing. And I waited too long and missed my window to return them, so now I am stuck with them.
