Fast shipping, great fit 2006 cobalt LT 2.2L. Only reason I bought is because the factory air intake plastic nipple broke off where the rubber hose attaches, and this was a cheap option. Comes with no instructions but instructions aren’t needed. You will have to mount bracket the best way you see fit, I used hanger strapping along with the hardware supplied. Only parts that you need off of the stock intake is the rubber hose clamps and the map sensor. You can really hear the air sucking in through this intake and it sounds good! ... show more

    • Vacuum leak after a couple months
Worked great, I needed it to replace my stock cobalt intake because the valve cover vent tube nipple thingy broke. However, after a couple of months, now the filter, and the part that fits the filter to the tube, have separated enough that I am able to spin the filter around freely while it's all attached tightly. Not good. If you're not familiar with this instance and you have this in your car, but the car starts to idle rough with low rpm and tries to stall, plus sometimes the automatic shifting is rough or jerks you, this is all caused by this product. That "spin" in the filter means it's now a VACUUM LEAK. Which may or may not even trigger an engine light depending on the car. Mine triggered a "p0171 bank 1 too lean". I recommend just getting a pricier intake. Sorry but it'll save you the problems. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It's relatively easy install even without instructions. Didn't come with hose clamps for the hose to the valve cover, had to use the original clamps. Fits really well on my 2005 saturn ion with the 2.2 ecotec engine
