I had high hopes for this spreader but I know it is some chinese thing no name brand. It accepted my dewalt 20v batteries no problem. I wanted it to spread fertilizer in my lawn and it did a good job. Sometimes the fertilizer would get under the spreader wheel and stop it. I think that’s just because it is fertilizer, not the fault of the machine. It’s bigger than it looks in pictures but still manageable with one hand. I’m glad I bought it.

Easy to use. Light weight. Battery is the best thing about this unit. It turns and runs. Most battery units are run by tripple a batteries with no power. You can't go wrong with this product. Great for female that cant handle large load at sone time. I highly recomentd.

I had decent expectations going in, and this little spreader actually delivered. It accepted my DeWalt 20V battery with no issues and handled lawn fertilizer just fine. Occasionally, some material would clog under the spreader wheel, but that’s more about the material than the spreader itself. It’s a bit larger than it looks in the pictures, but still light enough to use with one hand. I’ve also used it in the winter for spreading salt on icy walkways, and it worked great for that too—really versatile tool to have on hand. You’ll need to refill it a few times for bigger jobs, but overall I’m glad I bought it. Makes yard work and winter prep way easier than pushing around a bulky spreader. great value and durability

This is just about the neatest "toy" I ever bought myself. I was getting so tired of pushing a rotary spreader around the yard, bending over too far and pushing against long grass. It took my back several hours to recover, and it's the job I most dreaded every spring and fall. But with this is just a stroll around the yard. You can set it to whatever distribution density you're comfortable walking with, vary the angle it throws to, even stand in one spot and cover areas that need a little more fertilizer or are harder too get to. Even on a windy day this did a terrific job. I don't spread ice melt, but I'm sure it would work equally well with that. Now I'm going to go back out and spread some Spectracide, just for kicks. The only down side, and it's a small one, is that you do have to refill the hopper 3-4 times on a 5,000 sf lawn. But a bigger hopper would be cumbersome, so this size is a good compromise.

I really like this seeder. I was looking at various seeding devices; a push-around broadcast seeder, a tow behind version, or a hand crank seeder. I'm really glad I got this instead. The other seeders would take up a lot of shed space and not get much use. The hand seeder allows you to direct the seed into corners and areas were the bigger seeders don't work and it's more precise (less wasted seed) than those. It's better than the hand crank version as well, those tend to cover oneself in seeds and dust. By far the easiest seeding device I've used and the fact that it uses batteries I already own is awesome.

Early innings but the spreader worked really well! I had the Scott’s whiz and and it always felt like it was struggling and went through a lot of batteries. I don’t think 4 AA batteries is enough to a spreader! Input my Dewalt battery in and this felt right! A round of grub ex and a round of lawn food when down with no problem. Nice spreader!

I couldn't justify a push behind spreader, so this was just the right size and cost for the job at hand. It has all the options you need, adjustable width, speed, and amount of fertilizer per sqft. innovative to use the battery from an existing power drill and didn't cost an arm and a leg compared to the competition.
