Assembly was a breeze — took about 45 minutes max to put together. Just lay out the pieces in numerical order to make life easier. The bench came unfinished or maybe minimal clear coat (not sure), but I sanded this piece and put 2 coats of polyurethane (sanding in between coats). This results in a nicer looking, more durable, somewhat scratch-resistant and easier cleaning work surface. I have mine next to my grill under an awning, so it isn’t sitting under the direct sun 24/7, but here in Florida it will still get wet so I wanted to protect it more. Having it sealed should do the trick. The bottom shelf is the perfect size for 4 chlorine bottles (I measured before I bought), there’s plenty of room for some planting stuff, hooks for grilling or planting tools too. The drawer is sturdy as is the whole setup. The “sink” is nice to have but wasn’t a deal breaker. Most of the time, I keep a cutting board on top of it anyway. I added a couple of bar mats to the top tier and use silicone mats to put hot items while grilling to protect the wood. I also added a couple of strong magnets on the side to hold whatever metal tools I’m using at the moment. All in all, this is a pretty good find and is working very well for my needs. I do wish the wood was a little thicker, but this piece should last quite a while nevertheless.

I put it together myself in about 90 min. Yeah you need a drill, but for someone with minimal skills I thought the instructions were fine. It looks great and has been super useful!

Nice, but assembly is a pain. The missing drill holes are really annoying, especially on step 1. TBH just adding those holes would have been enough to raise this to a 5 star. The rest of the areas not having holes wasn’t a big deal. I like the table overall and it’s a good size. I used two 11 oz spray cans of clear waterproof sealant and was able to do 2 coats over the whole piece. The potting bench looks great and feels sturdy. I think it will need to be coated with sealant each year to keep it in good shape.

Two of the parts were configured for what might have been a different model. I did not realize this until after I completed steps 1-3. During step for there was a 3/4" (apprx) gap in the underside, middle brace. I removed and reinstalled the brace to fit the configuration of the upper apron bracing. When I got to the main top section, the bracing was again off by the same amount as the bottom. I had to remove and reinstall the top, underside, middle brace. After finishing the main build, I assembled the drawer. It was now 3/4" too narrow. The right side shelf is 3/4" too wide. My conclusion is that parts 5 and 10 were manufactured for a different model of this unit. To return the unit, I will be forced to disassemble it. I wasted three hours on a project that should have taken an hour.

I bought this potting bench because I was tired of using my kitchen island for planting projects. It took me about an hour to assemble by myself in my dining room. I thought the instructions were clear. I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy it was — it felt solid and well-made. Overall, it's a great addition to my gardening setup, and I wish I had bought it sooner! Excuse the mess in my patio photo - I was in the middle of repotting. :)

Was very nervous when I opened the box to find broken pieces, but lucky it was just a support bracket, so I was able to glue/clamp it back together and then tension it to the main piece. Once together, it is decent for the price, but it is very light/ thin pine wood with zero waterproofing. I’m afraid this thing will disintegrate if left outdoors after just 1 or 2 seasons. I plan to apply some sealant for longevity. I could not return as I needed this for a Mother’s Day gift. This was the only reason I opted to fix broken pieces and assemble it.
