The Craftsman Universal Power Sprayer comes standard with a patented dip-tube that fits on any standard 38mm ready-to-use refill bottle. Pumping days are over! The Craftsman Universal Power Sprayer is lightweight, durable and powered by 4-AA included batteries which will deliver up to 60 minutes of run-time. The convenient battery compartment built into the handle makes it quick and easy to replace 4-AA batteries. The integrated adjustable nozzle allows the customer to easily set the desired spray pattern from stream to cone in seconds. In stream mode the unit can spray up to ~20'. At the heart of the Craftsman Universal Power Sprayer is the specially designed 4.5V lightweight robust DC motor and specially designed chemical resilient gear pump. This motor-pump design is optimized to provide optimum performance in the wee, insect and cleaning applications. Finally a product that is very useful & versatile! The lid will fit OK on a 1 gallon milk jug and that's what I've been using. Mix your chemicals in the jug and throw it away when your done. I keep another jug mixed with soapy water to clean the sprayer when I'm finished. It will spray 2 gallons before the batteries need changing out. If your going to be using the sprayer often I'd recommend getting rechargeable AA batteries, it takes 4. We have a big garden and yard. In the garden I've been using it as a foliar, insecticide and fungal sprayer. In the yard I've used it to spray insecticide and weed killer. Our house is a one story and gets that green algae on the siding. We have to power wash it once a year, it's an all day event. Late spring this year I sprayed a mild bleach solution on the house to keep the algae at bay and seems to be working as we have no algae. This took about 10 minutes and 2 gallons to spray the whole house. I'll do it again mid fall. What a time saver! When we cleaned the carpets, I used it as a pre-treater to spray many spots (dog and kids) before using the carpet cleaner machine. I'm sure there are more used that we haven't come across yet. Now for the cons. The sprayer wand is short and could be another 3 inches longer. The batteries are a little awkward to install. The hose could be 12"-18" longer. And lastly, I wonder how long this sprayer will last? I know I'm nitpicking now. For all the use I've gotten so far if it broke tomorrow I'd be happy. Who knows, it might surprise me and last years. After all it was under $9 and came with batteries. This sprayer works great and beats pumping or squeezing a spray bottle!!! ... show more

I got this for my laboratories because we have a particular test that requires squeezing a specific brand 500 ml lab wash bottle for 30 seconds at full pressure to test some experimental products that have been baked onto aluminum - we want the product to be easily removed during production cleanup. If you have many variants of experimental product to test it can get very annoying, make your hand and arm ache, and the spray pressure can be reduced over time as you get tired - also the pressure variance from person to person is high, so this provides increased consistency. I got three types of sprayer/washer. This one was closest to the lab wash bottle in the direct stream spray application of water to remove the experimental products from aluminum in terms of force and amount of water delivered over time. I have used it four times, each time the tubes are emptied by pumping air, and the batteries removed so they will not discharge/leak if there is a long time between doing the particular test (months, perhaps a year). I don't expect it to last but will purchase a couple of spare ones - at the price it has been doing great and the spray is consistent. The other two products were also excellent, more expensive ($40 and $120), rechargeable, but the sprays were way too strong for the simulated work. ... show more

For the cost, this little sprayer is quite impressive. But remember, when products are this cheap (about $14 in my case), there are always some lemons out there. In my case, I got lucky. The product worked out-of-the-box, and has worked for three applications of BTI in my greenhouse for a total of about 7 hours. I just replaced the batteries that came with the unit. Part of this success is the fact that I read many reviews, many of them giving important tips on how to use the product successfully. I recommend you spend some time going through these reviews so generously provided by some Amazon customers. The sprayer is very well designed. The little battery pump is powerful, but you need an airtight connection to the supply bottle. It will collapse thin plastic bottles but it still works. I would gladly pay more if Craftsman would add the following upgrades: 1) A misting nozzle, I think there is enough pressure. 2) A filter at the intake tubing to prevent clogging. 3) A locking “On” trigger option. ... show more

I’ve been using this battery sprayer wand for a few weeks and I’m happy with it. The battery power makes a big difference — no more hand-pumping, and the pressure stays steady the whole time. It’s great for spraying plants, cleaning outdoor areas, and even applying solutions around the house. The build quality is decent, though not heavy-duty. Perfect for gallon sized containers of stuff found at the big box stores. This does spray a higher volume through the nozzle than what generally comes with the off-the-shelf containers (squeeze trigger or battery powered). But sooo much handier than the squeeze trigger spray handles. The one caveat is that being airtight, the sides of the gallon-sized container will begin collapse with continual spraying ... A small pinhole in the top of the container handle keeps this from happening. ... show more

Perfect tool for my uses (cleaning carpet,moped,cleaning wood stairs)) it fits perfectly on the large bottle of white vinegar from walmart sadly i think i clogged the hose and the motor blew out so im buying a new one cant beat the price

It's working and looks exactly as pictured. The only thing I didn't like is short wand. Was it so hard to make it longer/telescopic? This cheap plastic tube must be like 1 cent. So you don't need to bend or get on your knees and get your face too close to dangerous chemicals? I cannot complain since it was exactly as pictured and I'll keep it because I need it right now but short wand kills it for me. Next time I'll just buy sprayer with longer wand even if it's more expensive. ... show more
