The unit was fitted on a Gravely STR in spite of what they say it cannot be done. I removed the name plate, removed two small triangle braces that seemed to have little need as they support the bar that the name plate is attached to. The kit came in a box delivered by FedEx with a hole in the bottom with all the screws and etc. scatted and missing, as the Co. placed a lot of heavy metal component's in a ZIP lock bag to rattle around and break open, not to bright. I have a fairly well supplied shop so I was able to get it all together. It worked well for 3 bags of fertilizer then the motor died, they replaced it with no question. It appears to be made by that large oriental country, which is known to me as selling poor quality. I really like the unit and it saves me the cost of having another way to spread fertilizer.     • Disappointed
Purchased for an eMark mower, went on easy enough. Started using it got about 200 feet worth of spreading, and it stopped spreading, at first I thought the hopper was plugged. After getting off the mower and noticed the spreader wasn't spinning...I proceeded to assist the operation and it only partially spun, acting as if the motor waa bad. I called the next day and described my issue they sent me new motor. After getting the new motor and installing it it still didn't work....I then took it apart and found the bushing the shaft spins in had collected fertilizer and with the rotation of the shaft it gummed up the shaft creating a sticky spot. Have not called yet but I am done I hope to send it back and get a refund John ... show more

    • Great Product & Design-Just needs a few fixes.
Great Final Product but there are a few problems 1. Drop gate (rate control) is cheap plastic and does not work well. 2. There is great difficult for a typical homeowner with minimal tools to attach the mount to a 52inch Gravely XT52. 3. The pin to stir the mix is too small and simply cannot physically stir the fertilizer so it can be spread evenly. All a great piece of equipment for someone with a large yard or small field to mow and fertilize as needed. Thanks ... show more

Great product, easy to adjust and fine tune to utilize your fertilizer. Highly recommend. Had to remove the foot stop on my eXmark mower to properly mount the mounting bracket. Not an issue. Went together easily.

Spreader was very beat up and looks dirty like was used and thrown back in the box bolts and hardware laying everywhere. Very disappointing when u spend $600 for a good spreader or so I thought.

    • A great spreader for a zero turn
This is a new product from Agri Fab and I was eager to try it. Here is my honest opinion for the zero turn electric spreader . The shipping took a little longer than stated however that may or may not have been Agri Fab, it could have been a mixup with Amazon shipping. The box arrived and upon opening it kinda takes your breath away when seeing so many nuts, bolts, washers etc. After watching the you tube video showing assembly I carefully laid out all the nuts, bolts, washer and parts and started the assembly. The enclosed directions and clearly shown photos allowed easy assembly. A few minor problems but a simple phone call and Agri Fab sent what I needed to complete the process. The only real problem I found was with the Hitch Mount Bracket. It does not allow slide on and off to the Hitch Mount. The bracket is just a fraction to narrow to slide on and off. AgriFab sent a new bracket however it has the same problem. I used a grinder to grind some off the hitch and had a body shop use a hydraulic spreader to enlarge the hitch mount . In the end I simply just loosen the bolts holding the hitch mount bracket and it will slide off and retighten when putting back on zero turn. The spreader works very well and I spread 200lb’s with no trouble. The hopper gate works smoothly and the motor switch and gate control are easily reached from zero turn seat. All in all it is well worth what it cost ... show more

Receive the spreader this afternoon. Arrived on my front porch and the box was heavily damaged. When I opened it it had already been used. The hopper had a huge cut in it. All the parts were scratched up. Terrible delivery

    • Seems good and goes together after you get the missing hardware
Missing bolts and washers. Shims needed so the sliding connection is not a crush fit. Hole in switch plate is for 5/16 carriage bolt. Matching hole is 1/4. If you don’t mind a trip to the hardware store and some drilling , it does go together. Fits the zero turn lawnmower ok.
