Storage space for deck, patio, or yard, for potting, barbecue accessories, small gardening tools, hoses, etc. Practical size, about 39" wide when assembled with magnets to keep the doors closed in windy weather and treated for outdoors to help preserve the fir wood from weather. Each panel is marked with a number to help assembly. You will need a knife to open the backing of the screw pack, and possibly a drill with a pilot bit to create holes where the wood is harder (the outer holes are predrilled, but not the inner ones). The instructions are clear for pieces, but not clear in the sense of showing you what orientation to assemble. I did this alone so there were no extra hands to hold and square the pieces, so it was quickly obvious that it's better to build the shell upside down so the surface where the top eventually goes is facing down and is squared and supported with the help of the floor or patio base. Once you get the back and side pieces assembled, you can flip it right-side up again. It's also important to close the doors and get them square and properly interlocked before you screw them, with the metal strips (to connect to the magnet) on the inside. It takes some angling and wiggling to get the bottom panel and shelves installed (start at the bottom). When you're done, don't forget to screw the top on. It's easy to feel like you're finished when you slide it on since it holds quite well without screws, but without screws you can't easily lift and move the cabinet around. Happy with the design. It's simple and practical, and I like the natural wood. We're using this for deck storage for container-gardening tools and barbecue accessories. I'll be adding an extra coat of waterseal because I want it to last many years. If I could change one thing, I would put hinges on the back of the top so it could lift up like a bench to easily grab items but even without it, it's good value for the price. ... show more

    • This Cabinet is so amazing and easy to put together.

Looks nice and was easy to assemble in under 1 hour. Directions are pretty straight forward and clear. This cabinet is very light and looks fantastic on our porch. We use it for our gatherings and have out mixed drinks and shakers on it. We added LED lighting to give it some flare. For the price it is fantastic. Well-constructed and came with extra screws just in case. It's pretty much put together right out of the box. All you need to do is secure the sides and doors and then just place the top of the bar on it and screw it down. It is cedar wood and is all wood, no cardboard backing, and they used a good quality set of screws that did not strip while installing this cabinet. Will be buying another one for the pool area to store the chemicals and other items. I give this 5 stars! Excellent and worth every dollar. I chose this cabinet to keep the accessories and wood pellets for my Ninja Woodfire grill and the various wood chips for our larger Masterbuilt smoker. Our first impression upon unboxing the parts was that the wood color is a bit too light for our liking and the wood, although supposedly "waterproof and suitable for all weather", looks to be unfinished wood. So, we have decided to coat it with polyurethane. The polyurethane will protect the wood, and also richens the color. The screws to put it together were supplied, but holes had not been predrilled. So, my husband had to drill the holes for the screws to put it together. In addition, this storage cabinet does not come with risers or wheels to raise the legs from the surface it is on. We were concerned that the grain of the wood legs would be sitting on a wet surface when it rained and the moisture would be absorbed by the legs of the cabinet. Since the legs are not one solid piece of wood, but are a composite of two pieces from the sides and front or back, the only option is risers that have spikes that will connect to both pieces of wood. In addition, the stainless steel top is a thin sheet which may or may not hold up to weather. I still gave this cabinet a 4-star rating because the wood it is made of is a good quality wood and the price was reasonable. We can make it work, but really shouldn't have to. Hopefully, with our modifications, this cabinet will last a few years. UPDATE 09/06/24: I have added some pictures of this cabinet to show the color and how much it holds. All of my Ninja accessories and wood pellets are on the top shelf and the wood chips for our larger smoker are on the bottom shelf. It's so nice to have everything handy without have to remember where we put things. We did use two coats of polyurethane on the outside. The inside shelves were coated with a tinted polyurethane that didn't work at all since it is too dark and didn't cover evenly. I'm glad my husband tried this on the inside shelves first so it doesn't show. I also like the magnets that hold the doors closed (shown in the pictures) - a small convenience, but nice to have. So far, I love this cabinet and the additional counter work space it provides. I will update this review when I find out how it holds up to Illinois weather.
