This compact Roypow Lifepo4 battery weighs only about 2 lbs and works great all around my home and on my kids electric bike. It has a good build to it and hope it will last as long as my previous ones. This is my second battery from this company and I have to say I am satisfied with the quality of this brand even if it was a few dollars more the the others out there. This RoyPow deep cycle battery is powerful, charges very quickly, and worth recommending if you should need one and of great value for the money. No issues so far with the power provided by the battery, and I don’t have any voltage measuring tools or time to perform deep cycle tests to se the accuracy though. I also like that it has low-temperature protection, so that will automatically stop recharging to protect the battery from damage. Note: The cut off voltage of this battery is 10 Volts. Also, battery came with some charge in it, but I highly recommend to fully charge it first before using it ! Purchased this battery for my fish finder on my kayak. Charged fully...used ounce. Will not charge. Jumped from another battery to charge it. Does not hold a charge. I asked for help on the link .... no response. I am outside the 30 day warranty.... I would never tell someone to buy this.

I drilled a few vent holes in a clone 30 cal plastic ammo box and placed this battery in it and wired the battery terminals to auto-size terminals that I had screwed into the top of the ammo box. The ammo box assembly fit exactly into the battery well in the rear of my 2007 Prius and I could directly connect the Prius battery connectors to the terminals I had screwed into the ammo box. So far, this is working great and has saved me hundreds of dollars. It will probably last the remaining life of the car. My only concern is whether the slow, constant discharge caused by the car's electronics might drain this battery if I don't drive the car for some days in a row. I probably need to rig up a solar charger from Renogy.

Should be a Great battery for long term power with a lower draw. It seems to have all the protection/options I was wanting. Unfortunately I did not understand that Maximum Amp output may be about 1/4 of an SLA battery, and thus incompatible for an Uninterruptible Smart UPS. UPS use should not be on the web site without warnings about this batteries capabilities vs SLA. Given the PRICE, a few bucks more than SLA - WHY NOT Try to upgrade...... Rats, did not work. Reason: From what I understand::: In My case - tried to replace the 2 SLA batteries that are in series for 24-27 volts. Smart APC UPS 1000 - Test power up draws 1,000 watts ? . . Where I guess 2 (Two) SLA 12v 12Ah batteries in series can produce 1,000 watts? . Where 2 of these LiFePO4 in series only provide 300 watts maximum. . This causes one of the 2 LiFePO4 batteries BMS to INVERT its charge = giving 0 volts output. UPS SHUTS OFF - ALL THE WAY OFF. This is the BMS trying to protect itself I guess by draining the charge as fast as possible - I would guess at a rate of 12amps, given it did not pop the 50amp fuse. I did not understand the limitations of these batteries for use in an uninterruptible Smart UPS. Or any usage of battery that requires more than 150 watts of power from 1 battery. I hope this helps someone else to know what to expect from these LifePO4 batteries. New math shows I would require 8 of these batteries, 4 sets of series running in parallel - if they are compatible for that configuration in BMS. I do not have the space for this setup. The company did respond to my inquiries quickly about this matter. I was happy with their response and help. They Noted that on each battery it states 153.6 Wh. - So these are slow discharging batteries. They work great if you have a long term low amp draw. Not possible on a UPS. I have another one of these batteries in my GTO GATE - Dual arm, and its working great. If it last more than 5 years, I WILL BE HAPPY, but the goal is 8-10 years. So from what a gather, the only type of LiFePO4 Battery that can be used in a UPS would have to be "High Discharge Rate Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) Battery" - BUT CHECK MAXIMUM WATTS it can output. And Expect each battery to cost well over $100. SLA is the cheaper option long run still. DARN.

For my application im using two of these configured in a 24v system on my electric bicycle. They charge up fast and Im able to get so far upto 10 miles with moderate hills mostly flat land and still have 26v (13v per battery) or about 40% charge left. I have set this up on a charge controller limiting the max state of charge at 26.8v (13.4v per battery) or 90% charge. Going over this amount is per my research not good for longevity and decreased the number of charge cycles by at least half. Soo we will see if I get the max rated number of charges or close to the rated number and Ill report back (the reason I left longevity blank). The only draw back I have found is solely due to the size of box I had to install them into, as they are just over the size by .032" or less bigger than the lead acid battery's I replaced. This made for some revisions to the original battery box in order for these to fit. Overall Im very happy with them.

This battery worked ok for about 11 months. I went to use it and it was dead without having a load on it. I tried charging it will my Victron charger and the battery draws no current. I started a long email conversation with Roypow customer support. I was impressed by the quickness of their reply but they kept asking me to do things I said I did in the original email. Finally they said "you purchased has entered the BMS protection state, you need to buy a battery charger with activation battery function to activate the battery!" Seems like chasing good money after bad. So much for their 5-year warranty if I have to buy more of their product.
