A good grill for the price and has better durability than the one I bought at Home Depot. Seems to be put together well and uses decent materials. Again this is $1000 Weber so I don’t expect it to behave as such. But it does everything that it was advertised to do, and looks good. The burners function well and give good even heat. The knobs are well-made and feel good in your hand. They function smoothly. The lid of the unit seems to be made out of decent material and is sturdy, although it’s the one area I wish was a little bit more Overbuilt. The thin lids that these are made out of tend to let heat escape, and is generally the biggest difference between higher and grills and lower and grills, but for the price what can you say the stand itself is solid, and seems like it will last for a long time.     • Great Grill for price but "Sear" burner is a dud.

Grill came extremely well packed. Instructions said 70 min to assemble lol . Maybe for 3 NASA engineers but it took me 4 hours and Im pretty handy with a screwdriver, which is the only tool needed. It appears well designed. It was not too difficult to put together but the instructions could be a lot better. Most is just drawings and very small. So you have to use judgement and look to see what fits where. I seasoned it and then used it today. The 4 burners and side burner work great. But the "Sear" burner is the coldest area on the grill. It should be the hottest. Doesnt matter how long you pre-heat. It doesnt get near as hot at the 4 regular burners. So Dont buy it for that feature. It is worth the money without that. But it is disappointing they advertise steak Searing feature and it is lukewarm. I kept having to move steaks away from that area to get any crust on them. It starts very easy with the pushbutton igniter to every burner. Just hold it down and turn on any burner including the side burner. They each have an ignition and all fire same time. So.... Great Grill........ expect 4+ hours to assemble, and dont expect to use the "Sear" feature for anything but warming. A few tips: Wrap the grease pan and crumb tray in foil before use. At the very least spray them with Pam. The removable crumb pan is NOT non-stick. So you need to prep it with something. This thing gets pretty hot. Dont normally gripe in reviews, but the assembly "instructions" and process were horrible. No written instructions, just sketches that vaguely resemble the parts; assembling the 2 side wings require unassembling 8 screws from the prior step and then the wings did not fit well anyway. Even when pictures did make sense, there were multiple screws to be installed in awkward locations that were hard to get a screwdriver into. the assembly process was poorly planned and illustrated. as others have noted, the paint on the warming rack burned off in the initial heating up and turned into a gooey mess. There were other items but those are the main ones. On the positive side, it did heat to 750 degrees in about 10 minutes. Sorry i did not purchase another CharBroil. ... show more

Absolutely love it, works amazing! The only downside is that the rack above for the smaller meats is painted not sure why it’s like that considering that’s definitely a health factor but isn’t a big deal, once it’s set up just let it burn for a few hours with nothing on it and the paint will eventually burn off but definitely recommend doing that first before any meat touches the grill. Overall side burner works great ! All burners work perfectly they heat up quick and just looks amazing. The durability is good, easy to use and the wheels help it move around and the size is perfect for plenty of meat to cook ! ... show more

Stainless steel is holding up well after several months. I like the searing burner and also the side burner. This unit has everything I wanted at a reasonable price. Putting it together was fairly easy and didn't take too long. I would recommend that they add some utensil hooks on the side of the right countertop. I made my own by adding some screws into wood backing that I added behind the steel lip. Grease trap is easy to get too and remove for cleaning. Pretty efficient unit. Have only had to refill the gas once, and that was mainly because I inadvertently left one burner turned on. I have enjoyed grilling with this unit - reasonable price point for a nice stainless steel grill. ... show more

Be warned: This grill comes in pieces in a big box! You need to assemble it yourself. As long as you are cool with that, no problem. I foolishly did not notice this until after I had ordered it. Now that I have it together it is beautiful and works fine. However; for me, assembly was a bit of a nightmare. I am 76 and I am no stranger to assembling things. Been doing this for many decades. But the instructions became harder for my old eyes and brain to interpret beginning at instruction step 10 and 11. The instructional video also becomes harder to interpret at that point. In all, I would say I invested six to eight hours in assembly. It would have been worth another $100 to me to purchase one already assembled. The biggest challenge was lining up the two side sections with the main burner box. The holes did not quite match up for screw insertion, etc. I had to draft another old duffer for a second set of eyes to get that done. If you are young with good vision and a bucket of patience and a pinch of mechanical aptitude You should be able to sort out the assembly with a minimum of frustration. But it sucked for me and that is why I give the experience only three stars. If your profile matches mine, you may want to steer clear of this grill. I learned a valuable lesson personally... I will not be ordering anything from Amazon that needs assembly in the future to preserve my personal sanity. ... show more
