it’s a great bargain for the money, it’s a flat top and an actual gas grill. Both sides work perfectly. My youngest son cooked Father’s Day dinner on the grill and the flat top worked out. Perfect. We had steak, asparagus and potatoes.

It's a solid grill - but mine arrived with a couple of bolts missing in the lid cover over the grill side. Getting the missing bolts from Royal Gourmet customer service is way too bureaucratic. You literally have to screen shot your order, the part name and the part code (and there isn't one - the bolts for the lid cover are supposed to already be there) - and that's a fraction of the form RG wants filled out. I'll go to the local hardware store and fix the problem myself. Quality grill - but not so much quality on the customer service side. ... show more

Seems nice so far, first camping trip with it. Flat top is good to cook on with ceramic coating, easy clean up. Only complaint is no drain tube in flat top so grease and debris doesn't have a way to make it to trap
