The material of this item is very well. Durable. The metal brackets seem adequate. However the exact fitment of thr metal piece that pivots/hinges on the existing metal piece isn't the greatest. I realize we have a 15 year old camper, however, these pieces are not obsolete by any means. I will rate this item 3 out of 5 stars for everything else being of good quality.
