Lenght is adequate to play almost as if there was no cable provided with the right set up. If you are playing and charging it will not charge but It will keep he battery at it's level.     • Better than a double ended USB-C cable with active repeater!
Style: 10W Charging
The TL;DR version: reliable for weeks so far. Keeps headset charged. No issues. Build quality seems great. My new top pick! I love PCVR. I built my current PC with VR as the primary purpose. Virtual Desktop and Air Link are cool, but they aren't as good as a wired connection. I've tried and used many different cables for Link. I used to own the official cable sold by Oculus. I have used powered extenders with active repeaters. I have used unpowered active repeaters. I have used fiber optic and copper wire. I have used native USB-C (both ends are USB-C without any adapter), USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5gbps) and USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10gbps) cables. My previous favorite cable was a 5 meter native USB-C cable with an active repeater in the center. Cable Creations? Anyway, one problem with that cable is it is quite stiff. Almost like RG59. I use cable pulleys to keep my cable above me and Velcro cable zips to hold the cable secure to the quest 2, but rigid cables wear out with too much bending, so getting a year out of one of those cables is impressive. It also only tested at 1.8gbps in the Oculus cable test. My motherboard has USB-C USB 3.2 gen 2x2 on the I/O shield on the back and a header for a case with USB C port. It's a high end board (evga z390 dark). Kept my headset charged all the time but it was the most reliable I found before. Anyway, this cable is nearly perfect! I love that it's white (I got the Corsair virtuoso headset in white with white ear pads to match my Q2.. my PC is also white). USB 3.2 gen 2 and gives an Oculus test speed of 2.7gbps. a powered cable that ACTUALLY KEEPS THE HEADSET CHARGED! (Be sure to use a quality charger adapter). The soft blue light on the quest end of the cable to show it has power. It weight and flexibility and jacket of the cable. Time will tell how it holds up but after several weeks it's proven to be reliable and no signs of wear. As someone who has tried close to 15 cables for reviewing, this is my new top pick! ... show more

Update Quest 3 user: This cable over time stopped charging as out of the box, it dies on me. The thick wire kinks too much when playing VR. So I just returned and bought a better cable. From the seller themselves: "This Link Cable does not support simultaneous charging and playing for Quest 3; it can be used for charging separately or for independent VR experiences. This limitation arises from the Link Cable's maximum charging power of 10W. Quest 2 also has a charging power of 10W, and when running at a 90Hz refresh rate, the charging speed can remain stable, maintaining the battery level at around 78%. However, Quest 3 boasts a 120Hz refresh rate, which demands more power, exceeding the charging speed capabilities of the CD0044 Link Cable. As a result, using high refresh rate VR experiences with Quest 3 may lead to a decline in the battery level. Therefore, if you wish to maintain your battery level during VR experiences, we recommend separating the charging and VR experiences. This approach ensures optimal performance during VR sessions and allows for independent charging when needed, helping to maintain a stable battery level and fully meet your requirements." "The link cable can achieve up to 900 MB/s data transfer (which is close to 10 Gbps) in hard disk tests. The connection speed between the Quest and the computer is directly related to the PC and graphics card, and settings on the Quest device may also affect it. I lost no performance with this cable and it very nearly keeps up the charge during use. After 4 hours of playing "Elite Dangerous" the power was still at 98%. I would normally have to shut down and recharge directly from the included charger at 4 hours.

The media could not be loaded. my brother played it today, and the outcome was really good. We played on several games, connected through steam games, it was very smooth no disconnection, charging as well, 16ft across the room was enough. The cord is very very durable high quality feel. I’ve check other manufacturers for this type all of them had bad review except this one. So definitely buy one if you’re considering of getting a cable link for your quest 2/3. People saying it disconnects for them, they probably have to restart their steam VR, other than that this concludes everything. I would totally recommend this to my other friends if they were to buy one. This was my honest review, and not biased about it. ... show more
