Good/Fair quality. A little difficult to install on last bolt. There is a noticeable whistle when driving without a cargo carrier. The rubber guards are a hassle to deal with once peeled back to mount bars. I’ve had one side of the rubber guard come undone while driving cause the rubber to flap on the roof of my car. After pushing the guard in better into the bar things have been fine. With a cargo carrier the bars held up wonderfully. From GA to TN, FL and MS these bars have done the job! ... show more

Product was easy to install (although the include Allen wrench should probably be longer -- I used my t handle allen wrench). Not terribly noisy, but there's definitely some wind noise at certain speeds. Not Yakima, but not bad for the price.

These are pretty easy to install - once you figure it out. Directions leave out some details that would be helpful. Otherwise, these match really well to my existing roof rack and look good. Planning to use for an inflatable paddleboard, so this should work great. However, I cannot figure out what the locks are for. It seems they only lock into place the encaps, which would not really effect anything. Can somebody tell me what they are for? ... show more

I like to say that my Jeep now has nipple rings because of these. It will be a bit difficult to find a QUALITY, soft cargo bag to put on this because they run parallel to the windshield. Hard top cargo carriers are a lot easier to find, but cost a pretty penny.

I mainly use my racks for carrying surfboards. If you're carrying items that are are extremely heavy then you would need something more robust. These racks would probably be sufficient for 90% of the users out there.
