Roebic AOP Air-O-Paks are water-soluble packets of highly concentrated RoeTech 106PS bacteria designed for use in aerated septic systems, (ATU’s), package systems, and other aerated wastewater systems. These bacterial cultures digest proteins, fats, oils, grease, soaps and chemicals found in cleaning products to help prevent backups and reduce odors. Designed to work in both the settling chamber and aeration chamber of aerated units, the convenient 8-ounce packets dissolve quickly for easy application simply by flushing them down a toilet. Maintenance treatments consist of one packet every three months for odor-free, trouble-free septic system performance. The pail includes four packets total.     • Great Product
I have a multiflo aerobic system. These are designed for units like the multiflow. You should have an air compressor that injects bubbles into the effluent. If you don't, you have an anaerobic septic and these aren't for you. They make other products for those systems. I just had it pumped about six months ago and the alarm went off. I took the lid off, and there were solids in the surge bowl. The socks were clearly plugged up already. Took two of these and flushed them one at a time. Checked it again after a month and the difference was night and day. It clearly broke down a significant amount of the solids and the socks were clear and everything was working as it should! Considering a pump out is about $350, I am going to start using one of these every two months as directed. Hopefully it will allow me to go 4 or five years between pump outs ... show more

I have to say I love their products, I like another here had issue with Air O Paks blocking my toilet. for some reason the packet was fine before I dropped it in and flushed but it became HARD when it hit water and caused toilet to overfill. ( I just add them directly to tank now) and tank is being kept very clean. ... show more

This goes directly into the septic tank to help breakdown solids and keep the septic bacteria healthy to reduce septic failure and high repair cost. Simply put one bag directly into the septic tank and nothing more has to be done. I do this monthly for a family of 5.

I don't know how well this works. I used another brand before. They tell you to start with two packets and then one packet every three months. Instead of a powdery content, one of the packets was half solid like a rock. It jammed my toilet for two days and eventually cleared out. Bad quality control. ... show more

Seems to work well in our aerobic septic tank. Have not had to have it pumped in 9 years usage and the semi-annual inspection is always "No Problems Noted". Note this is not for traditional septic tanks. This is for tanks with an air injection system.
