Description

The Rockville XBAR-32 32" amplified soundbar brings high-output audio to off- road adventures. With 600 watts of peak power and eight speakers-four 3.5" mid-bass drivers, two 3.5" mid-range drivers, and two 1" PEI dome tweeters-it delivers bold, clear sound that dominates outdoor environments. Bluetooth 5.0 ensures seamless wireless streaming with automatic pairing and hands-free calling, while built-in red, blue, and purple LEDs offer solid color or cycling modes controlled by a dedicated button. The IPx6-rated marine-grade build features polypropylene mica cones, butyl rubber surrounds, and weather- sealed grills, making it tough enough for rain, dust, and rugged terrain. Installation is clean and easy with the included RWK8ATV 8-gauge wire kit and multi-angle adjustable clamps for 1.5" to 2" bars. An RCA output allows you to expand your system with another soundbar, amplifier, or powered subwoofer. Install was pretty straight forward with the wiring harness included, plus extra wiring that was not needed. After attaching power and ground it and it was ready to go. I added a switch on the power so I could use it in my rzr with the car on or off. Mounting was easy with the two roll bar mount sizes and variety of rubber spacers for size adjustment. Three of the four sides have the ability to attached the lifting hardware so I was able to mount below the harness bar. Bluetooth pairing was easy as expected. Initial sound was too bright but with EQ adjustment on my phone I was able to get a good tone out of the speakers with little distortion at full volume. There is plenty of volume available; with the volume at full, it hurts my ears. 2 or 3 levels below full volume is plenty loud to hear over the engine noise of the rzr. It was slightly lacking bass but well over my expectations for it being a sound bar without a subwoofer and for the price point. The sound bar does not have a memory for previous lighting setting, they default to off. If you want to use the speaker lights, you have to press the button to your desired setting each time you turn it on. The speaker does, however, remember the Bluetooth connection to my phone each time it’s turned on so there is no need to reconnect. The only issue I have encountered so far is that sometimes when I use my radio comms it pauses the music. ... show more

The mounting kit is solid and was very straightforward to install. But the sound quality is amazing. The aluminum casing makes this thing solid and doesn’t shake of rattle at all. The sound quality is excellent and what I have come to expect from Rockville. It it loud enough to jam out while climbing over rocks or screaming down the trails. I installed this on my Polaris ranger. The people behind me loves my music!! It’s an excellent product and I am sure it will exceed your expectations as it did min!!! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I like the product. Its heavy and well made. As a pre amp unit. The wires are small that connect to the battery or inverter as i have it on my 48v golf cart. . If i turn it up to 2 or 1 of full it clips out . But turns on right away an reconnects to my blue tooth . So i keep it 2 steps before max an it works grwat. Bass is like a mid speaker. Highs are on point . I thinkni need to add a sub bazooka with a pre amp to make the golf cart complete. ... show more

    • Squeal sound can be heard at all volume levels.

The media could not be loaded. I installed this on my Can Am X3 and I really wanted to love this thing. It's loud, sounds really good and looks cool. The issue is a high pitched squeal that developed after about a week of using it. Not sure what the deal is, it's present on all source inputs and it's not alternator whine because I power this off a 100amp hr lithium battery that isn't connected to anything else and the sqeal is present even when the machine isn't running. This thing has no bass but that's to be expected with 3" drivers. They are very loud, louder than you can possibly handle. I paired it with 2x 10" powered subs mounted in the roof and it was an epic combination. In the end my solution was to return it and do a normal sound system with 6x6.5 RF speakers, two kenwood amps and a Rockville head unit. If they can get the QC dialed I would consider buying it again but to have a major issue 1 week in is concerning. ... show more

Easy to install. Fast shipping and organized contents. BUT after a week. It just stopped working. I really loved the unit and would like a replacement instead of return. Can't have great quality all the time sadly.
